ok try this scuffy :
mod "Bart07modAOR.pack";
Release other units (reedit Ca' units and add others)
Limit units to the max available during this period (sample : 14 units of french cuirassiers)
Enhance the gameplay (better ai in the battles)
finally got it working! Great mod, just wish it had realistic musket sounds, blood, and no tracers! I was wondering how I could get this mod working with ntw3 v2.0 and pdguru unit mod, I know that on youtube naxzul666 got it working like that but I dont know how, any help would be great!
Another rich and excellent update, thanks sir!
I saw this earlier in thread, but the directions didnt help, I cant recruit any units anywhere except regions such as Hungary, Croatia, and Silesia. Tried installing your campaign folders, but nothing happened. What did I do wrong?
Tried, same...Prussian campaign recruits only in Silesia, Austria only in Hungary and Croatia, Russian only in Moscow, and with French campaign can recruit anywhere, but only militia. Do you have to delete the vanilla campaign files or something?
Ah, nevermind stupid foolish mistake on my part, fixed it, works great. Thanks for great mod!
Is there a way to make the French not so wealthy??? They send a non stop wave of like 10 maxed out armies throughout Austria and Bavaria and are close to being unstoppable. When playing as Prussia they destroy the Austrian faction in less than 15 turns. Where the units are so cheap and the economies are huge, they spawn armies like crazy. But for some reason AI coalition nations dont.
Rome II is coming and to my mind, NTW will be outdated.
I will upload soon the last version of this mod, this release will contain new screenshots, new campaign ai, no tracer, new event icons and corrections on db stats.
I have decided to rename this mod "Les Aigles" to refer to a french wargame napoleonic rules of the 90s.
This rule inspire me the morale system and help me to discover the napoleonic warfares and uniforms twenty years ago.
So it is the end of this mod that have begun on march 2010....more than three years now...
Thanks everybody for contribution and support.
See you soon.
Bart

I tried to delete a few units but then couldn't save the mod. Is it permissible to make minor changes to the mod for my own amusement? If so, how do you save a copy? Tried and the spinning wheel never stopped.
Please ignore the post above this one. I let the wheel keep on spinning and it finally saved. Was too impatient. Sorry about that.
While playing noticed that the French Cuirassier and Carabiniers show a screen name of "Horse Guards". The two Carabinier regiments are numbered sequentlally with the Cuirassier rather than as 1st and 2d. The Cuirassier can show up with numbers 15th and 16th instead of a max of 14. Somehow this appears to be tied in with the localization file but not sure how to change.
If this is when recruiting new units in a campaign, it cannot be changed.
Well, it is the screen name that the unit shows in campaigns.
yes, but it is possible to define the name you want for the STARTING units via the startpos. For units recruited later, the name is generated automatically in a sequence, and the sequence is linked to the class. So every unit of the same class (like heavy cavalry) will have the same base name.
