Do you even know what that phrase means? The Aetolians and Acarnanians were Greek! He says that the Aetolians and Acarnanians share the same language with the Macedonians. Which means it was a Greek language! Where in the quote does it suggest they spoke a non Hellenic language?

Are you daft? I posted a map showing where the Aetolians and Acarnanians (The people in your quote whom the author says are "men of the same language" with the Macedonians) lived. It's in Greece. Are you denying the basic historical fact that Aetolia and Acarnania were Greek states?

The Greeks did not "steal" the Phoenician alphabet, they used it as a basis to create the Hellenic alphabet. Much like Greek was used as the base for the Cyrillic alphabet.

You see my friend, Phoenician is a Semitic language. Semitic languages contain no vowels, the Ancient Greeks adapted the Phoenician alphabet to the Greek language. Calling the Greek alphabet "Phoenician letters" would be inaccurate.

maybe from the single fact that not one of the letters, shown on the coin corresponds with the phoenician alphabet. And the greeks did not steal it. Odysseus, Achilles and Diomedes did not mount a commando raid to the capital city of the phoenicians, where in the darkest dungeon, behind 12 doors with 29 guards and 4 ever awake two headed guarddogs was hidden the phoenician alphabet.

Greece was not a country during this time period. However, the map does show REGIONS of Greece. Such as the Peloponnese, Achaea, Macedonia etc. Are you seriously claiming this map shows Macedonia wasn't Hellenic? My dog, Zoe, could construct a better argument!
