    Default Invincible Arty??

    Has anyone else experienced arty which cannot be killed by musket fire while it is limbered and traveling ?

    not a bug, but a feature. seriously.

    The problem was that a stiff breeze was killing the horses of limbered artillery, thus leading to the loss of the whole artillery piece. This was primarily due to the fact that horses are large, easy targets, so it was a bit unfair to destroy artillery just because the horse pulling it died. Entire artillery units were dieing to a single shrapnel shot. The solution was to increase the strength of the horses and it's what you see today.

    It would be great in the future if they made the peices 'modular' wherby horses could get shot, and removed from the train making it slower

    The horse artillery should be quicker, at any rate. It's unbearable watching them unlimber

    Hmm, I do for a second, but after five minutes of my infantry shooting, they all drop dead at once. Neat, no?

    Well they should have given each artillery piece them hit points equal to the number of its crew. For example if an artillery unit consists of 4 cannons and 48 crew members, then each artillry piece should have 12 hit points while limbered and if it has taken 4 casualties before it limbered, the game should keep count and after taking another 8 casualties one artillery piece should be destroyed.

    Artillery should do alot of stuff faster. Like move.
