Default Why did people request reduced army movement points?

I thought this was one of the better features of DMUC, it meant AI armies could suprise you with an attack but also that you could reinforce more effectively and it wouldnt take you a year to cross in real geographical terms quite small distances.

I don't know, personally I liked the increased movement points.

Because with higher movement points there is no way to stop the manoeuvring of an enemy army and meet him in the open field, so eventually in the next turn he will siege you. This could be balanced if I could increase the Control radius of armies, as I did in Total War: Shogun 2 but I do not know how to do this in this game... it is hardcoded as I know.
