    Default Napoleon All In One Mod V36 + Sub Mods (updated 30/7/11)


    "Napoleon All In One mod" gives you lots of different mods based of various modders and some of my own tweaks and personal mods have been added for good measure. I was concerned at the amount of packs that were starting to build up in my data folder so thought it would be nice to compress in one big pack, and thats over 50 mods so far!!

    You have the choice of two versions of the game (both work together):

    1. Napoleon All In One mod - To work with Vanilla game and Peninsula Campaign DLC with all the extra mods
    2. Napoleon Special Edition - Specially designed version of husserlTW excellent Napoleon Total Faction mod to work with "Napoleon All In One" mod

    Please note that I suggest using this mod with the Sub Mods listed, as any other mods that are not listed I cannot guarantee will work, especially mods that use BAI. I have opted for Lutnik's AI mod as a base to start with, and if you use any other mods with AI included this will cause problems so you have been warned! You will also need the game fully patched and all DLC units/content purchased. If you are using non Retail/Steam version of game, this mod will not work!!

    Napoleon All In One Mod Version 36 Installation + Download
    Installation - IMPORTANT: Please ensure that you download the latest version of mod at all times for stability (just check the date for version)

    1. Unzip and install one of the following to your data folder:

    TotalWarCenter: Click Here

    2. Place user.script (attachment bottom of post) or Click Here in your:

    XP users: C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Napoleon\scripts
    Vista users: C:\LocalDisk/AppData/Roaming/TheCreativeAssembly/Napoleon/Scripts
    Win 7: C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Napoleon\scripts
    OR
    place this entry in your existing user.script: mod Toons_Battle_AI.pack;

    3. Download the "Toon UPC Mod" at bottom of this post (shows unit names in game), Unzip and place in data folder.

    4. Start game

Duffers Renders mod with White Uniform fix- Brigadier Graham and KillzoneGB - This is Toons version all "Toon'd" up to work with the BSM mod, you have the choice of two versions one with Muzzle flashes Click Here and one without Click Here (or attachments below) - To use just place mod in data folder - Updated 12/10/10

    Installation - Napoleon Special Edition (Optional) - Updated 28/6/10
    Installation:
    1. First install NTF 3.3: Click Here

    2. Then install any updates

    3. Install Special Edition NTF_A1_3_3 (file at bottom of page) or Click Here.

    4. enter mod NTF.pack; at the top of your user script when prompted

    Order of List for user.script
    This is the order of how my mods appear in my user.script file, I advise the same if you are wishing to use any of the additional Sub Mods.
    If you cannot find your directory do this: Go to tools/folder options/view/enable hidden folders, and apply

    Tips/Troubleshooting
    I will keep adding to this as and when I get feedback from members! Try the methods below on any CTD's you may experience in game

    1. "Verify Integrity of game cache" via Steam just in case any CA core files are damaged etc..also check this thread: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=359856

    2. delete your fx_cache here: C:\Users\Paul\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Napoleon\fx_cache and restart your PC

    3. NTF Special Edition ONLY - If you are experiencing Sound problems and have WinXP try to disable the window sounds (control panel\sounds) when trying to start Vanilla game.

    4. If all the above fails re-install the game and then try my mod! It is also important to note that I would only recommend the mods to use as stated

    5. Q: Voices are incorrect in game? A: this will happen when adding any mods and cannot be rectified for now

    6. Q: Unit sizes are Vanilla in game?: A: ''For the sizes, make sure to set your ''campaign_unit_multiplier'' to 1 in your preference script.
    Also in the same script, make sure you have the unit sizes set to 3 and set them in the ingame menu to Ultra as well of course.

    This Mod also works with the following mods:

    Yes, any files that are game related, Skins and Units should be fine

    Looking forward to giving this a go, downloading now. Getting a bit concerned myself at the unfeasably rapid rate of mod-addition - conflicts becoming more and more inevitable...
    Bit worried on what the new unit sizes will be though, I struggle for FPS on really big battles as it is (unless zoomed right out).
    Anyhow, will give it a go and see if I can change the unit sizes if need be. Thanks chap!

    I hear what you are saying its just a mod that i put together with others works and some bits from me, it is still in its infancy NTW so a bit of trial and error will not harm.

    FYI here is the unit sizes:

    Line = 220
    Cavalry = 90
    Grenadiers = 185
    Light Infantry = 100
    Dragoons = 100
    Artillery i have left as vanilla sizes

    I find that Vanilla sizes are too small in game, and you can adjust accordingly in the main options to Small, Medium, Large, Ultra. just choose which size is best for your PC

    Thanks for the reply TTW, however I just tried it out and it works fine. Very little difference on my machine, a couple FPS at most. Now that I've tried it, the vanilla sizes do look a little small.

    Entirely agree with sentiment
    , also a few mods are using awkward nameing such as Mod_Modname when they are movie or patches files would help to use Patch_ or movie_
    saves having to check each mod by hand as one or two released dont mention in their posts which file type they used.

    Was going to release a combo myself I am using but will demure for now to avoid near repetition as you point out even with differences like TAR values etc.
    I do hope things calm down a bit and we unify alot of common mods rather than all spin off on our own.
    More can be achieved working in harmony.

    I have send Swiss Halberdier the details for a changed to the UCP_Napoleon loc for the Elite Republican guard could you use it?
    Just change the unit screen name in units db to Coldstream Grenadiers, Foot Guards.

    Just trying it. I can see all factions in custom battle but most of added factions havent any units to recruit(Bavaria, Hungary.......) Can't see new units though.
    I put the mod in my Data folder and added the common line in user_script. Whats wrong ?

    You need to click on the RED cross and that will activate the units to recruit in the menu

    Yes i can use them in mod, but Swiss is a quick worker and will need updating all the time, i will keep AUM seperate mod

    Ok

    Im loving the mod so far, its great that someone has finally decided to put them all together as one pack file

    one problem though... the cannon sounds don't really seem to exist e.g. I get real close to the cannons as they fire but the sound they make is terrible, its like really echoey, if that makes sense?

    If you could fix that, that'd make my day
