    Default Bad business practice

So I put down a deposit of 100 dollars for a recliner chair from JR Furniture for my new place. Now my moving plans got changed to January 1st, so I went back there to get a refund for my deposit. The guy there told me he can't refund it because the guy (Jas) who was the salesman when I put the deposit down, is not working today. He claimed he can't go inside the computer and refund the sale on his behalf because then Jas will get confused and won't know what's going on. He told me to come back tommorow when Jas is working. So I said call the freakin guy and tell him what's going on, tell him your customer wants a refund, and he said no I don't want to disturb him on his day off. Then I just said ok this is ******** i'm not bringing my business back here when I need to buy furniture in January and I walked out. I should have asked to speak to the manager, but I got so angry I wasn't thinking i just swore and walked out.

Im going to have to go back there tommorow I guess but I wish there was something else I can do.

You should have asked for the manager. At the end of the day, as you have already said, just take your custom elsewhere. If you are feeling particularly agrieved, then write a letter to the Chairman or Customer Services...

customers always have something to complain about

Outlined against a blue, grey October Sky the four horsemen rode again. In dramatic lore they are known as famine, pestilence, destruction and death. These are only aliases. Their real names are Stuhldreher, Miller, Crowley and Layden.
