October Revolution!

So with ETW there was a mod that if you were Russia and had a succesful revolution your new flag would be that of the USSR (same with your landbattle flag) I was wondering if someone could recreate this mod for NTW or even explain how to do it.

I'm sure it would be easy to do but of course, who would ever want to do it? This game takes place at the start of the 1800's not 1917. Although, if someone wanted to base an entire mod about WWI or WWII then Napoleon TW would be the perfect game to base it off of. That way, you could play as the Soviet Union. Ooragh!

the 1800s had the largest socialist movements in history (minus the 1917 revolution) seems like a good time period to base it if you ask me. then again none of that matters, what matters is actually how to make the mod >.>

I must tell you it isn't good idea. First of all, the way of fighting and the weaponry during the Russian Civil War were completely different than in 19c. The game engine won't allow the modders to introduce to the game armoured trains, machine guns, planes, repeating weapons, breech loading artillery etc...

Sounds like a great idea..but I neither have Napoleon or modding skills for it.

That's it, just place the unzipped pack file in the data folder. Flag mods are easy, just takes a couple of minutes really. Only thing it lacks is that circular flag thing above agents, I forgot where those were located.
