Incredible improvements! Saw the AI using cavalry to protect its artillery positions, keeping it's general safe behind the infantry line, and actually forming a solid line and engaging my army with their muskets rather than running around like headless chickens.
This is amazing. How on earth did you do this? What is it that you did that CA have been missing time and time again?

Missing sound usually means that there's a mismatch between the user.script file and the mods in the Data folder. Check you have followed the insructions on the first posting and that any mods you have in the data folder are listed in the script file and vice versa.

say i have more mods intalled. how would my user.script have to look like? i try it like this but it doesnt work...

Playing on H/H and the modded AI is not perfect, but my final battle with Austria, as France, was vastly better than any of the other battles I've had so far.
It was Napoleon vs. Karl, I was laying siege to Lemberg (his last province) and he sallied out a turn before they would have starved, and made quite a fight of it. I had an enormous positional advantage, as well as a better army, so I expected a slaughter. First of all, the general actually hung back and stayed out of artillery range. Second, his cavalry moved with his infantry, instead of charging mindlessly. Third, they actually tried a two-prong attack, a main force trying to flank my line, and a smaller force trying to come around the other side of my line where my artillery was stationed on a cliff that they couldn't directly approach.
The main force went musket to musket with my guys, rather than charging for melee, while a few cavalry tried to flank. Had I not had such crazy artillery (4 12-lbers and 4 howitzers), I don't think I could have held off the main force and kept my artillery safe from the smaller one. So yeah, good show. Try the mod.
where does this user.script thingy go? It doesn't even exist... So I'm assuming you create it and then place it somewhere.. but where?

If this is all you're using you don't need a user script, just put it in the data folder.

I think your problem is related to brigadiers mod. You are supposed to use only one march at the time. Erase Radetzky or Preussens Gloria line.
By the way I am really impressed by this mod. No more stupid generals. AI defends artillery, advances and forms fire lines. I have even lost a battle against a firelock only army. Really impressive man. It is a pity I cannot give you more rep, you deserve it a lot.
Could you make the mod fully compatible with 2 ranks fire Thorized mod?
They sure do have a knack for figuring out where to put their artillery, too.

As I see you removed fire and advance, but did you put in fire by rank?
