To answer your question, no, there is not. But the PFM works almost well.

Yes you can. Simply open the pack, make your changes, then make sure the pack is in 'movie' type, then save your changes and your done.

Ijust figured out how open Napoleon Total War with DBEditor, all you have to do,is rename Napoleon.exe to Empire.exe,and then when you want to play,just chnage the name back to napoleon.exe

I hope we do get to see one, I've found modding Empire using the DBEditor to be a breeze, once the relevant tutorials were looked up!

I much preferred DB editor as well, but I.m afraid we'll just have to get used to PFM.
