    Default Mods and Drop-in Battles

    I have not yet tried the drop-in battles, but will give them a whirl once I try the grand campaign after finishing up Egypt.

    I was wondering, however, how the system handles differently modded games (or modded vs unmodded). For example, say I am playing a campaign and have some firing drill mods installed (no fire and advance, volley fire, or whatever). Will my drop-in opponents be limited to only players with the same mods? If not, whose setup rules? In other words, my installed mods would apply to ai armies, but will they apply to armies controlled by a human drop-in opponent even if they don't have those mods on their pc? Or, will they apply to my army and not his/hers? Or, are the mods cancelled out for that battle?

    I would be very interested to learn what others have experienced. Thanks in advance.

    you cant play together at all, only someone with the exact same mods in the exact same order can drop into your campaign and vice versa
