    Hi NTC Developer team, i'm trying your beta V 4.0 and i am really impressed of this gigantic work, i think it can be when will come the version 1.0 a great masterpiece in fact of mods ^^ If i can, i want to post some suggestions and add to the game: can you add some other nations music (Prussian: Preussen Glory, Russia: 1812 Ouverture for example) in substitution of some english music? I think with this addition it can be in a certain way more realistic and in it can be represented all nationality.... the other suggestion is formerly a question: in a battle in the NTC Campaign i have attacked two enemies army so in the battle will be reinforcements... when i start the battle i noticed that the reinforce army did not spawn correctly (one units of cav spawn but one horseman remain stucked between the border and a hill so the unit formerly hasn't already spawned and it move forward for all the battlefield without command or order) i have to exit and restart my campaign ... i want to know is it a bug? or it is a rare case of problem with the game?
    I want to congratulate another time with you for this work and i wish you good luck and good job for future versions ^^

    That is a new one on me, no one else has reported such so I'm guessing the would be a one-off game bug. (?)

    As far as the music, there is already an NTC music pack available. However if you would like to make a different one, I'd be willing to offer it to users as a alternative.

    Hello

    I have used some of the units implemented in the 5th beta before and got rid of them because it kept bugging me that they were not really finished yet when it comes to portraits and unit descriptions of them in the campaign map. Is this something you plan on fixing yourself?

    Also some units like the brits horse guards are now dubbled, there are the NTW vanilla units and there are the modded new version of them, same goes for the Scots Grey, and there might be more "dubbled" units aswell, I saw on the russian rooster the Siemenovski guard being dubbled with vanilla and modded units, kind of feels off to have two versions of them at the same time.

    I played the 4th beta like hell and I loved it but with all these additional half finished units... I dont know, maybe it would have been better to fix them first and then release them into this mod?

    Hey

    Sorry if my previous post was to harsh. I can suggest just deleting a hell of a lot of those units you added if it is easier. Instead of having to fill in the descriptions (finding historical facts for the descriptions must be a pain O.O), addng portraits, fixing dubbles and setting appropriate recruitment caps for each unit missing it

    I dont think many will miss that vomitingly huge rooster the brits & Prussians have atm. You cannot even find what you want to recruit in there hehe, but anyway if its esier to delete alot of units you have my very strong vote to just trash alot of them

    Can you include an option to enable a light enhanced smoke mod? I am worried about performance. As for the units doubled, we can have doubled units until they don't saturate the recruitment panel, if they do we must remove them.

    And, Hieppy, you are not alone, Fraccione dreams of you EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH !

    @ Fedaul - no worries bro, actually I hate the fact I don't have a team ATM, the old team is tied up with real life or whatever.

    I might be able to patch is some unit card but unit description would be another story, I can also easily remove the duplicate but I need to know EXACTLY which ones.

    If anyone is interested in lending a hand with NTC, I would be glad to have some help.

    @ Fracchione - LOL, you are INSANE! but anywho, the mod uses the Whiff of Sulfur mod for smoke, there is no 'lite' version that I know of, so you just need to turn it off.

    there is actually a lite version of whiff of sulphur but I believe it is only obtainable through the mod creator for now.I used to use it myself

    NTW still works. I didn't run Steam verify, because it ran correctly. I forgot to mention this earlier, but the BETA IV install originally worked. I only ran it once, but it did allow me to play. It was a few days before I tried it again, but it was at that point that I could no longer get it to run. Barring any other solutions, are there any possible steps that I could have missed during the uninstall process. Is there anything I should do other than run the uninstaller?

    I do like this mod. Why ?

    Sometimes AI beats me to the ground, I saw my lines under fire and then they crack. With no reserve and no cavalry at hand, it really becomes a last ditch defense around those few precious guns.

    One example of a story : I was playing Russian in Death or Glory mode, I was late in tech, in full war with France and Ottomans, Austria has been reduced to just one region ... Then England attacks in ... St Petersburg, landing with a full stack , I have 4 units here at most, everybody else was at least 3 turns away !

    Bravo :=)

    I am NOT a new user!!!!! I have the STEAM version of the game!!!!!!! NTC does NOT WORK!!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!! I am desperate to get this running!!!!!



    well no, really. i get the same issues a few others have had when the game crashes upon loading the campaign. i have already tried uninstalling, ensuring data folder is clear, and validating the cache. i can run other mods such as NTW3 and LME. i am now uninstalling NTC again and will delete NTW entirely and reinstall and try again. not asking for help yet, just reporting that this happens with real versions as well. I will post again with results as soon as i have them.

    EDIT: No problem with the mod. likely was something left over from LME or NTW3 even though (I thought) I was very thorough in removing them.

    In this mod the CAI is superb. The BAI is...it's not unique to this mod because it's an old ETW/NTW staple, but the AI often turns into a big incoherent blob when flanked.

    I'm editing this to say I've been attacked very effectively by the BAI in this mod...and I've seen the AI even withdraw from battle when under pressure.

    But the BAI in ETW/NTW has always struggled with a basic flanking move; sad because those moves are fun to coordinate as the player, but the end result is always mass blob panic by the AI instead of a scrappy, tenacious D. I wish CA and it's new Phd in AI genius would look at this in his or her spare time and consider a patch.

    Because this game is getting that close to being a classic.

    However I don't see this as much using reduced NTC unit siszes. The larger units sizes are awesome but the AI seems to handle the reduced sizes better
