Dust Removal.

Does anyone know how to remove the dust that soliders etc kick up when marching, running?

funny cos I was gna ask this. If you lower the particle effects option then the dust disapears but then so does the smoke. I want just the dust to disappear.

Any progress on this? Smke is nice, but dust is stupid, would like to see it gone.

Just delete the alpha channel in the dds so the dust is "invisible"..... just an idea (I am no modder)

Open data.pack in data directory.Open it with PackFileManager and go to effects, then extract unit_dust_parameters.txt and set everything to 0.00

Yeah, the dust also uses alot of texture and memory, so im told. So it would be good to see it gone. Thanks for your replys, Radious if you can do this and it works youll be a god lol

heck yeah lads. That dust is killer, fps wise. THe like my artillery putting holes everywhere but that dust the troops kick up just kills my fps
