Ah, when you say "certain tables", would they happen to be any of those not crossed out on this list?:

If so, that's because we haven't finished parsing everything yet. If you have any special requests for tables you'd like to have parsed ("opened"), feel free to suggest them on this thread: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=338014
Well, part of the reason might be that only the tables that begin with the letters "A" through "F" are guaranteed to be finished right now, exactly as I posted on the download thread.
The rest of the letters of the alphabet are hit-or-miss. That is, they might or might not be included with the version you downloaded.
Keep in mind, this is still a work in progress, and the PFM will continue to be updated as we crack more tables.
EDIT: Dammit, Erasmus beat me to it

i have tried to export technology table so i can edit it and cut time down by like 25% but when ever i export the file and try to add the file in the mod.pack its a mod pack of course but when i do i get this
please help as i would really like to edit the technologySpoiler Alert, click show to read:
You need to put the pack in the correct relative subdirectory. In the left window of the PFM you'll see where it says "Pack paths are relative to:..." Start with that position as your root. You need to place your .pack so that it is in the same relative position to your root as it is on the file tree in the left window.
So if your directory tree in the PFM window shows:
MyPack.pack
|
+mod_folder
|
my_modded_table
And MyPack.pack is relative to "C:\Users\moisesjns\desktop", then your table needs to be in a folder called "mod_folder" sitting on your desktop. Make sense?
Grrr... I hate trying to describe this to people... It's so simple and yet so abstract.
himm
everytime i tried to make some changes and save it
the programm would hang and stop functioning..
anyone expericening this problem
i was looking through the unit sizes,i want to readjust russian's unit size .
so i change the 160 value of the musketeers to 200.
and lowered the accuracy
after which i tried to save the file but , the pfm hangs and becomes not responding.
btw i am using windows vista 64bit...would this have any impact on the performance of the tool?
I'm having the same issues as Paw. It would happen anytime I edited anything inside data.pack. Any attempt at saving would result in the program freezing for about 10 minutes. I'm assuming this is caused by my computer making temporary files after saving PFM because I lose around 2 gigabytes of space whenever I save.
Paw, are you losing disk space after saving as well?
Anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with this issue?
Thanks Uraikol, good to know. Unfortunately I still lose around 2 gigs of space due to temporary files being created. Is there any way around that?
Also I use Windows XP, 32-bit, if that matters.

Good find! Any help is needed, +rep
I know what you mean .... Btw would it be better if we change default path of PFM opening files from game data folder to desktop? I've never worked straight in data folder and I don't think it is a good idea messing up in that folder, but this is a personal opinion of mine.
Another important thing: is there anything that can be done for "save" to be functional when changes are made in _loc files (only "save as" is available in all last PFM versions)?
I think it may be because you're trying to edit something within a CA .pack, instead of creating a new pack and making changes there (which is highly recommended). If you click on "File", you'll see an option checked called "CA .packs are read only". Try unchecking it and see if it makes a difference. However, as above, I'd encourage you to extract the tables you want to edit and add them to your own pack.
Wow, that did the trick. Thanks Erasmus!
I exported the DB's I wish to change. However, I am having such a hard time making my own pack and importing them. How do I go about doing this? Everything I try gives me some sort of an error. So could somebody explain to me how I make a new pack and import db's to it?
*EDIT* I figured it out, never mind.

UPDATE
New PFM released.
Changes include the addition of definitions for all tables that begin with the letters "G" through "M", with the exception of: models_artillery, models_building, and models_naval, which are insanely complicated.
