Nuln Engineers with the repeating gun

I saw the mod to make the helstorm battery recruitable. Do I need to do something similar to gain access to the lads with the repeating firearm? they are very cool to use in custom battles, and would make defending my cities from the Chaos Hordes just a tad more workable.

Somewhere in the campaign you receive then, just like the Mercenary Captains (Except you don't pay for then =D)
But you receive only one unit I guess.

I think before turn 40 you receive then!
Can't confirm it though
