    Default Burning Cities

    Rep to all those who have designed the mods. Awesome stuff.
    I wanted to know if it possible that there is a mod out there that completely does away with city forts and instead one is able to siege a city (instead of a city fort)? As in MTW II it was glorious to pound a city into the ground and watch buildings burn! I would love to be able to do that in Empire.

    There is a no forts mod somewhere (I know it is an option in Darthmod Ultimate Commander but if you don't want all the other stuff there is no point getting that...)
    That means you can fight through the buildings.

    Thanks. That is what I am talking about. I am tired of the forts, they take away the joy of pounding your opponents cities into dust! I wonder if that mod is listed separately? I will have to check it out.

    I found the no forts mod under Darth Mod submods. Thanks for that. My next wish would be replacing religious demographics with national demographics in each city. Any idea if there is one like this?

    Errrmm, I'm pretty sure there isn't. (Do you mean replacing the religion with patriotism or something?)

    I created more resistant buildings mod; I can do the same but in a opposite way.

    That would be great. What I am really after is a city that burns and crumbles when it is attacked by artillary...almost like MTW II.
    I have downloaded the No Forts mod and it has made the game so much better....now I just need more realistic destruction of cities.
    As for my other idea...replacing religious demographics with national demographics per city? Is this possible?
    I have ideas for elections as well......adding actual party names (Conservatives, Socialists etc) and then with the election of said party bringing different effects to the country and changing how other countries recieve you. Possibleble?

    Sorry for the late reply...I am in South Africa and our hours are a little different to others.

    This could be done; not replacing but adding them. Just as another religion.
    Both are possible but scripting is needed and I have not tried it yet.

    About effects/government I have added exactly that in JM; but the difference is for monarchies / republics. For elections we would need scripts.

    I see. Scripting is a little too much for my basic knowledge. Do you know anyone who could do it or provide instructions?
    So maybe we stick to making buildings crumble quicker....more fire and smoke as well.
    JM? Which mod is this?

    First create this post (with all your ideas):

    Exact; only for native factions. But in vanilla too -apart from warpath campaign-.
