    Default Balearic Isles

Currently playing as the British, and trying to land in Balearic Isles.....

However, cannot land due to Path Blocked pop ups...
Do not know if this is a bug or a gameplay issue..
    Anyone help me out here?

    Tell us more.

    Is the port occupied?

Are there ships that may intercept?

Can you move your ships away?

Reload the auto save and try again...

I had a real hard time landing on Corsica once, I eventually had to go around to the port and landed there fine.

A Spanish fleet is blocking your way. Click inside it's area of influence (the orange). It will either attack you or back down and let you enter, then you can land your army).

You can't land your men inside the enemy zone of control. This could either be his navy in port, or his garrison in the city. This was something that made conquering Malta in ETW almost impossible...

There's enough land on the Balearic Isles for you to just land on a beach somewhere.

Nope. That island is so small. There is only garrison in the port and the city. No navy nearby whatsoever.

Does this mean I can't take it over as long as enemy units are at the Isles?

I managed to take the island in my Russian campaign - there were units in the settlement but not the harbour. You need to look around to see where you can land your army.

If you blockade the harbor the zone of control goes away. Then land your troops right next to the harbor and walk over the bridge thingy to the city.
