In the midst of the Senate debate, a solitary figure enters the Curia. Walking into the marbled chamber, he heads straight for the Curile dias. It was Consul Aurelius, and he was back from Spain.
"If the house would permit my interruption, I come with good news; Hispania is conquered."
Applause came from the Senators, and Aurelius paused before continuing
"In the weeks since my last dispatch, I marched upon and took Baikor, as well as wiping out the last of the enemy presence on the Penninsula. I shall submit a more detailed report at a later time, but something more troubling has come to my attention; I recieved word upon entering the city that the Macedonians have taken Dyrrachium; how has the Senate seen fit to ignore the siege? What shall we do about this war?"
Lepidus sits on his Curile chair, awaiting reply.
