Heavy Rain?

Well, after playing halfway through the coalition campaign, i realised that there is quite a bit of rain, but that ok, i think its realistic enough.

But the rain is always so heavy that i have trouble seeing whats going on, add to that the awesome amount of smoke CA put in NTW and you can hardly see anything.

Maybe i could just lower my graphic settings, but i'd rather not, i'd rather have the options of having less visually obstructive rain, i mean India is not on the map in NTW, there shouldnt be any monsoons in the Brandenburg area....if you know what i mean.

Maybe a talented modder can pick this up?

There should be HUGE amounts of rain in the Flanders region.
But yeah I have the same problem sometimes!

Indeed, i wish CA would have struck a balance considering the occurance and the amount of rain and if all else fails, i would even opt for a mod that removes rain in its entirety.

Lol. I remember in Empire that when in India, my game would always lag to death because of an occasional rain + with all the trees and grass in the area.

RRain makes it harder. You wanted elite ai, here it is fog of war XD

Well I will try what i did with ETW, I went throught the files with the Editor and Turned all weather to dry, so no rain or snow storms. You will still see snow on the ground, but not coming down when your fighting. I will see if I can do that with NTW, I have the same problem lack of a good graphics card, it makes it very hard to see anything...

Thanks a lot man, im quite sorry to say that i could mod quite a bit of text files in previous TW games, but with all the new file formats i wouldnt know what the heck to do.

Let me know if your succesfull in releasing something.

Well tried the Editor with NTW and could not get the files to open, so sorry it does not look like I will be able to change it at this time. If anyone can help us with this to let us know what we need to do to open the files like in ETW. Please Help.... THANKS
