Default What if our beloved Fuhrer had not won the War?

    Der Angriff , April 20, 1989

    Editorial Note:

This series of articles is part of our newspaper's contribution to the festivities commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of our beloved Fuhrer. And while their nature may be in essence fictional, one can not disregard their educational value; for it is necessary for the younger generation to understand what exactly was at stake in the dreary and glorious days of the Last War and a way to achieve this goal is to set in front of our readers a horryfying vision of what our World would be had not our Fuhrer won the War. Parents, exercise caution: some of the material, due to its graphic nature maybe unsuitable for young children especially those not of Pioneer age.

    For the editorial board,
    Hildegard Traudel Goebbels

Part 1- 1942:The fateful Autumn We all know that the foundation for the Great European Victory was a succession of events in the autumn of 1942. But what if those confrontations had an unexpected outcome?
    • Rommel Loses at el-Alamein:
After the failure of Operation Herkules and the heroic death of Generaloberst Kurt Student Malta stays in the hands of the Bolshcapitalist semitic Alliance. As a result Generalfeldmarschall Rommel encounters insurmountable supply problems resulting in the defeat of his depleted army in the Vicinity of el-Alamein. While severly wounded he infiltrates the allied ranks and in a monumental duel kills the Bolshcapitalist leader, Montgomery and is subsequently murdered by his guards. Despite his heroic death the fate of the middle-Eastern campaign is decided and the European forces never reach Suez, and of course there is no Mesopotamian Campaign, with devastating effects for the European economy which is slowly crippled by the lack of petrol.
    • Reichenau fails to Capture Stalingrad:
Generalfeldmarschall Walther von Reichenau hesitates as to the direction of operations in the Southern front in August. He makes the fateful decision to assign multiple objectives for the 6th Army; as a result the attack on Stalingrad begins on the end of September. By then the Bolshcapitalists have managed to reinforce the meager defenses of the city with subhuman scum from beyond the Urals and despite the subsequent loss of more than 2.000.000 Bolshcapitalist Partizans, the city remains in their bloodstained grasp. The Monster is not overthrown by his despicable entourage and the Bolshcapitalist front does not collapse. The European forces have to endure the harsh winter and renewed attacks by numerically superior foes. To make matters worst the Soviets are resupplied by the American Semites through convoys who manage to elude our Wolfpacks (see next segment). By the Spring of 1943 the Wermacht is on the defensive.
    • The Abwehr fails to break the Bolshcapitalist communication Codes:
Operation Nordpol fails to yield the expected results. The Dutch radio operator is killed by Generaloberst Scorczeny's men and no further insight in the Bolshcapitalist codes is gained. As a result not only the Semitic Convoys can reach the Soviets unimpeded but also the Japanese Imperial Navy fails to surprise the Bolshcapitalists in the Battle of Midway. The semitic air carriers survive crippling the Imperial economy, leading to the defeat of Japan and the release of more Bolshcapitalist forces against Europe.

    Letters to The editor

    Dear Madam,
While I do not see any scientific potential in the study of Alternate History, I applaud your purpose to educate the new European generation on the horrors we would have experienced had Germany failed to protect Europe from the Semitic Monsters. In that sense, I would like to remark that although Alternate History does not need to be scientific it still needs to be plausible. In yesterday's segment the author is proposing 3 alterations in historical events however one of those is totally implausible. And I explain myself: While operations Hercules and Nordland both contained an element of risk and their failure is somewhat conceivable, the Failure to Capture Stalingrad is an aberration even in an allohistorical context. Why an experienced soldier as Reichenau would make such fateful mistakes. Why would he ignore an undefended city bearing the name of Monster and the obvious political and symbolic significance? It does not make sense even to a retired general like me in my old age. I would like to propose a more plausible course of events: that Generalfeldmarschall Walther von Reichenau somehow dies (by accident, in Battle or by natural causes) and is replaced by an incompetent subordinate (his chief of staff Paulus would be a plausible candidate, had he not perished in the infamous "latrine accident") who hesitates and fails to grasp the importance of the strategic situation.
    With Respect,

General Student died in Malta?? That probably means the beloved European force would be destroyed in Rhine at the fall of 1944 by American Seminits, and the war ended with Allies traitors celebrated 1944 Christmass in Berlin.

It really was fate, the fact is that Malta was in such a dire and unequipped situation that an Airborne assault would have definitely taken the Island. The Maltese were one of the most bombed in the war and the relentless attacks on supply ships meant that it was at the brink of surrender on occasion due to starvation. The British fleet was based in Malta, but its position became so precarious that the fleet was moved to Alexandria and at one point the only defense the island had was three Spitfires. It is actually the area of Maltese History I know least about but I did find this site which gives a general explanation as to what Malta went though - http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/worldwa...malta_01.shtml. What I do know is Malta was lucky, if the Operation on Crete had not cost so many lives and if the Luftwaffe did not have to sent reinforcements to Russia, Malta would have fallen.

Well, if I, Belisarius, the Black Prince, and you all agree on something, I really don't think there can be any further discussion.

    Dear Generalfeldmarshall,

I must take issue with your description of Friedrich Paulus as an "incompetent subordinate" which harkens back to the days of whispers and consipiracies of which we have little evidence. It was perhaps a fashionable thing to do in the 1950s, but we still do not truly know if Paulus had actual connections to the Soviet Command or whether he was feeding them information. Nor do we know how he truly died whilst he was performing his ablutions, at a time when any man is extremely vulnerable. But we do know that he was not given a significant command and therefore we cannot speculate how he would have performed in or around Stalingrad.

I understand why you feel it necessary to defend a man such as von Reichenau from any slur however small, but you must remember his appointment(s) were challenged by more experienced and nuanced commanders at the time such as the late great von Rundstedt (God rest his soul). Perhaps had it not been for his connections to the Fuhrer, younger officers who had performed remarkably well could have made more of an impact on that theatre, perhaps even to save some of the lives needlessly thrown away on the drive eastwards past Stalingrad as the Soviet Union was willing to negotiate a surrender and cede the territory anyway.

I know this could have not been said 30 years ago without fear of the Gestapo spiriting you away in the night, but von Reichenau's concerns with in theatre operations, which could have been left to reserve Command, interfered with military operations and cost German lives. I would like to point out that i am not disagreeing with the policies of creating living space for the German people in that area, but the fact that he was personally dealing with matters which did not and should have not concerned him led to inefficiency of the use of resources.

Be that as it may, von Reichenau achieved his military objectives, and for this we should all be grateful. However many lives it cost.

    Dear Sir,

While I do not wish to speculate on historical events not yet fully researched, (as you are aware "The History of the Great War" is still being written by the members of Historischesreichsarkiv) we will have both to agree that an officer who attempts to unblock an nonfunctional latrine by use of the Model 24 Stielhandgranate hand grenade, does not a great leader make.

    Respectfully,
Generalfeldmarshall Otto Moritz Walter Model (Rt.)

Today, we continue with the second part of our alternate history series. We would like to thank our readers for their support and positive reception of those articles. We also remind you that those are pure fictional creations and parents should exercise caution to avoid confusing our young readers. I also remind you not to miss our exclusive photos from the launch of the "Adolf".

Part 2- 1943:The Spring of no Hope
    • Gertsdorff's attempt almost succeeds
On March 1943 treasonous defeatists elements amongst the Wermacht succeed in detonating a bomb at close proximity of the Fuhrer. While the Fuhrer survives he is seriously incapacitated and will remain so for the a long period of time. The attempt have a grave impact on the moral of troops and deprives Germany from the Greatest Strategist in History at a critical moment. Subsequent investigation reveals a conspiracy of unthinkable magnitude amongst the ranks of Wermacht. The decision of replacing the Wermacht by SS troops is taken but it is too late.
    • Semitic Betrayal in Warsaw:

SS-Brigadeführer Jürgen Stroop misguided by a cabal of defeatist public administrators of the General Government delays the evacuation of the Warsaw Protected District. As a result thousands of semitic untermensh that were living in underground cellars drinking the blood of European children launch a surprise assault that dislodges the German forces from Warsaw. A combined Airborne assault by Bolshevic troops destabilises the Central front. The insurgency is crushed with the help of units from the front which weakens and cannot withstand the oncoming Bolshcapitalist onslaught.
    • A Fateful decision by the Luftwaffe:
While Reichsminister Goering is occupied with eliminating the nest of conspirators responsible for the March Attempt the Luftwaffe decides to re-designate Me262 as a fighter bomber. The production is greatly delayed and "the aircraft that won the skies over Europe" will be available to the Germans pilot only when all is lost.

    "Adolf" Launch an unprecedented success

A deafening silence broke in a torrential applause as "Adolf", the newest in the Haunebu Zwei series of spacecraft, took off from the Reykjavik Spaceport on its way to Mars, for the first manned mission to this planet. Euroaryan technology once more demonstrated to all detractors that "the sky is not the limit". (more on page 2)

Generalfeldmarshall Otto Moritz Walter Model (1891-1989) dies in a tragic accident

The last surviving member of the generation of Great Commanders died today in his house in Chelsea. Generalfeldmarshall Model succumbed to wounds inflicted while cleaning his service revolver. He will be best remembered for the capture of London and for his service as head of the British Transitional authority from 1944 to 1951. After his retirement he published a series of books on the Great War and it is rumored that he was currently working on his autobiography titled "The Man in the High Castle". Admired amongst the British people he has been granted a state funeral by His Majesty Charles III. (full obituary in pages 44-45)

Lol. thoroughly enjoyed this, why is there only two editions though?
or should i rather ask it in this form:

    "To whom it may concern,
I am writting to you about my der Angriff subscription. I have purchased my latest subscription in March, and haven't recieved any more copies since April 21. Has there been problem with processing my payment?
I would also like to ask regarding the other possible Alternative outcome of history. I have read that there was talk among the highest levels of the Party of halting the offense in summer 1940, which would allow the British to evacuate near Dunkirk.
Please, don't interpret this as dissent or Semitic thinking.
    Yours sincerely,
    (name not clear)

    P.S.
In your issue for the 20th of April 1989, you have mentioned Operation Nordpol and how its failure could affect the Japanese. Was the Operation as significant, as it seems our archives are classified for that information."

Hope, I kept the style lol

Althought to be honest I think we should have way way more threads like these! So much fun!

    Part 3- 1943:Disaster at Kursk

A dark day for the world as operation Citadel fails. The Sarin gas, destined to crush the Soviet defense positions proves defective. As a result, the German Army, instead of an endless graveyard has to face manned defenses extending to a depth of 25km. Despite the bravery of the Panzer troops, the mass of fortifications, barbed wire entanglements, anti tank ditches and Soviet artillery forces our heroes to withdraw after bitter fighting. It all started as planned. The I.G. Farben's gas canisters delivered in secrecy on the previous weeks were loaded in artillery pieces at 03:00. A total of 1500 tons were employed to saturate a total area of 1200 square kilometers with a density of 50 mg per cubic meter. Based on the experimentation of Dr. Ambros, such concentration would incapacitate the defenders instantly before their later but inevitable demise. However the gas proves ineffective. In the investigation that followed the Gestapo uncovers a plot by semitic agents posing as labourers in the main I.G. Farben facility by which they succeeded to sabotage the gas rendering it nearly harmless.

Editor's note: The repercussions of such a catastrophe would be monumental. As we know operation Citadel was the turning point in the war against the slavomongoloid beasts; it yielded 1.2 million enemy dead, more that 2000 captured tanks, countless pieces of artillery, airplanes that were soon to be used in Sicily and of course fuel enough for the subsequent Moscow operation.

As most of us know, the traitor of the Aryan race and lackey of the Judeo-Masonery Churchill had unleashed his rabid SOE dogs at our Immortally Glorious Fuehrer's Uranverein. What if that cursed "Operation Freshman" would have succeeded?

Or worse, what if the Bolshevik infiltrators would have managed to sabotage Herr Döpels' Uran-machine, blowing it up during the very first tests, and make it like an accident?

Could have that derailed our Wunderwaffe Program, depriving our Millenary Reich of "Thor's Hammer", "Freyr's Sword" and "Gungnir" and preventing our beloved Fuehrer from obliterating New York, Philadelphia and Washington?

12k sq klms is 1 200 000 000 square metres. This a measurement of area.
1500tons in mgs is 1360777110000. This is a measure of volume.
Assuming the volume is above the area, and there is no alternative, asumption, ie up to a mans waist from the total land area.

Thats 8 mgs per sq meter, so yes blame the jews for Germans who cannot count.

Speaking as someone who's seen a preview copy of this documentary, I don't have any problem with the length of the documentary. I just don't see why there are 247 minutes (count 'em) of gratuitous shots of well-muscled naked men. This has been a growing tendency in Ms. Riefenstahl's work, and has grown to ridiculous levels in "Tower Eternal". A 12 minute "oner" in a helicopter circling the site, with especial attention paid to the naked pilot, had me rolling my eyes.

    Part 3- 1943:Steiner Succeeds!

A happy day for the Reich! The cigar-munching-degenerate-pig is in the custody of the SS. How this came to happen is a tale of bravery and sacrifice that proves once again that nothing can withstand the will of the German Volk and our Fuhrer's. An elite group of fallschirmjäger led by Oberstleutnant Kurt Steiner manage to capture Winston Churchill in a country house near the village of Studley Constable, Norfolk. Our heroes overwhelmed both the personal guard of the beast and a detachment of a nearby unit of US Army Rangers. According to sources near the operation many English patriots assisted our troops showing that the mental grip of the pigdog and his cohorts on the English people is loosening. Oberstleutnant Kurt Steiner was received today by our Fuhrer was he was awarded the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes mit Eichenlaub und Schwertern and was informed of his promotion to Oberst.

Editor's note: We all know about the tragic fate of Fall Schwein. Let me remind to our younger readers that the operation failed because of the misguided heroism of one of our fallschirmjäger who saved the life of an English maiden, losing his at the process and revealing the German uniform worn beneath the Polish one, used by our troops. Had the monster being captured as intended, it is certain that the defense of London would not be as stubborn as it proved to be and would not necessitate the unfortunate measures taken. On a brighter note, if the resistance in London was less fierce the English subjects of the Reich would not now enjoy the magnificence of New London.

18 players of Cardyff have been today arrested by EuroCripo for use of performance enhancing drugs. This deplorable attitude is a plague on fair competition and should be punished in the strictest manner. Nevertheless, next week's final against Herta BSC is not in danger since there are enough players in the Cardyff academy to present a full roaster.

    Dear Sir,
upon investigation of your calculations it came to our attention that the writer of the specific part had an 1/64 Semitic ancestry. As per the revised Nuremberg Laws, he has now been removed from our publication and will have ample time to hone his mathematical skills in Siberia together with his family and close relatives. While we a re grateful for your contribution I have to remind you that disparaging comments for the mathematical ability of Aryans have no place here.

    Dear Sir,
film aesthetics are of course a matter of personal taste. While we respect your view there are other approaches to same topic as this of Edda Goering who recently complained in her pre-view in Illustrierter Beobachter that for "[...]1193 minutes there is not even a tiny fragment of a naked man,[...]". Personally I am not adverse to the sight of muscled Aryan bodies neither in a documentary film nor the sauna at Kurfürstendamm, which I heartily recommend to you.

Part 4- 1943:Fall Freishmensch is an unexpected blow to the Reich's Nuclear Program

According to sources close to the Reichskommissariat Norwegen a gigantic anti-partizan operation has been mounted in order to find and bring to justice the perpetrators of the terrorist raid that targeted the Vemork Hydroelectric Plant. While information is still sketchy, it appears that a large number of terrorists aided by airborne British spies and instigators and exploiting their overwhelming numerical superiority, overwhelmed the garrison of the plant causing significant damage to the installations. Obergruppenführer Wilhelm Rediess' troops have now encircled the perpetrators, hidden among the population of a number of settlements and will certainly deliver soon the final blow to this criminal gang. Kurt Diebner, a special envoy from the Kaiser-Wilhelm Gesellschaft inspected the facility and was seen to be emphatically distressed during his departure.

Could such calamity have ever occurred? As our readers are aware the three attempts by criminal elements of the then British Government to forestall scientific progress resulted in utter failure. Penetration of Norwegian "resistance" by the security apparatus, decoding of enemy communications and of course the outstanding performance of German troops made these operations appear as mere flights of fancy, at a considerable cost for the enemy. The historical irony however remains, that even had these poorly planned and executed vainglorious attempts succeeded, the enemy was never aware (as most of us until 1956) of the plant at Stadtilm, which was (and still is) one of the main contributors to the Nuclear might of the Fatherland. If however we hypothesize that the second plant had never materialized or had been targeted in a similar raid, the consequences would be serious, albeit not catastrophic. It is probable that operation Seelow would met with greater resistance had London not being pacified by a nuclear strike and that the defence of Moskau would incur significant cost both in personnel and in war material. But these alternatives will be explored in our next installment.

Default Re: What if our beloved Fuhrer had not won the War?

Letters to the editor I find this thread extremely offensive and will ask the moderators to talke it down.

The notion that the Deutsch SSR would not rise from the ashes of the first Great Revolutionary War under Comrade Liebknecht is historically incompatible with teachings of scientific socialism.

It is as laughable to suggest this "Hitler" (presumably the failed artist and capitalist collaborator whose assasination of Rosa Luxembourg in 1924 caused universal grief and anger to all right thinking comrades) could somehow weld a "Reich" out of misled workers as it is to think the attempts by the running dog Stalin could undermine the unity of the German and Russian peoples manifested in the joint efforts of comrades Liebknecht and Trotsky in bringing freedom and revolution to the peoples of Eurasia.

It is evident this is the work of diseased minds: to imagine comrade Mosley could have somehow associated with these "Nazis" is a calumny on a true champion of the workers (who did so much in bringing the former slaves of the British Empire to the light of Socialism), and suggesting the ci devant aristocrat Churchill (who hid in New York and hurled his poisoned words across the radio waves in a fruitless attempt at brainwashing the noble proletariat of Eurasia) could somehow have risen to a postion of leadership attributes more to the man than any sensible person could allow.

The mention of Siberia in this thread is most suggestive and I will leave it to the offending parties to confess their errors before they are sent for re-education. Long live the workers!

You are still reading Der Angriff. This is not a joke. There has been neither palace coup, nor an uprising. But it is not a misprint either. Bear with me.

Vladimir Mayakovsky [not famous in your timeline, Culture Minister of Zentropa in timelines 2 and 6, executed in timeline 3, suicide in 1, Secretary of the North Sea Soviet in 4] once wrote:

I know the power of words, I know the toxin of words.
They're not the kind applauded in public.
Words like that make coffins break out.

The letter in the previous post was words. Words like this. Sometimes, somethings breaks the walls of the timelines. Sometimes we know how. And sometimes we don't. But this gives us no choice, so now I have to tell you.

    You are 7.

Can you accept that the river of time can be rivers of times? You probably cannot, but please entertain the thought for a moment. Imagine that someone casts a large stone in a quiet stream and the stream divides and multiplies. Until now we knew 6 of those streams. 6 alternate timelines. You are 7.

My timeline is 1. I guess that for everyone his timeline is 1, and trust me, every negotiation in any timelines pales between the effort to reach to an agreement on the enumeration. In the end we had to draw the proverbial straws. I am 1. You are 7.

We did not know about your timeline, until the break out of the letter in the previous post. There are more, that is certain. We have contacted timelines 2,3,4,6 and now you. No one has ever been to timeline 5. No, that is a lie: no one has returned from timeline 5.
We know it exists because things, we can only call them things for lack of better word have come through. There is lot of speculation about 5. Some say it's a really evolve timeline and they want to scare us off. That it is heaven. I belong to the pessimists. Something has gone terribly wrong in 5.
But I digress; do you remember the stone in the stream? It is what we call a point of divergence. Maybe more than one but all our timelines seem to start there: Vienna, 1913. Ratthaus Park. Dusk.

Let me tell you about Vienna.
