Well I guess I can see why they didn't make a cinematic trailer using gameplay footage.
they did mention the graphics werent on the high settings due to the images being broadcasted across the globe and all that. Makes sense, and its still not a finished game.
I don't really like the idea of possibly waiting 10 minutes to respawn, but I'm hoping that's only after you die A LOT of times.

Wasn't really commenting on the graphical aspect, more the fact it looks like it's created straight out of the typical MMO mold. I just don't understand why people are looking forward the game as it looks like the same gameplay we've been playing the past decade and some. The two true claims to fame it has at the moment are weak when looking on the outside; you can't really have a story driven MMO because you can only take a story so long before you start to feel it's padding and it's quality starts to suffer. The voice overs, well, after hearing the same VA deliver the same stale dialogue about some pointless fetch quest for the 100th time when you're only a quarter of the way through the game the novelty of that will start to wear thin very quickly as it did in AoC.
Again, I just don't see the appeal for anticipation nor do I understand why people get so giddy whenever they release a CGI trailer. It just seems so, generic.
It is possible but yeah its a choice, it depends of the purpose, the end game they are trying to achieve. To be real honest it never bored me before to have or dont have cinematics, but i think it real adds sometging to the story, it give you the impression that the story you are folowing , its alive somehow, not just go to certain checkpoint, and then go another, and another and go on. Besides this a promo cinematic videos, they have other promo videos with gameplay too.
A gameplay trailer for instance.
did you se the flashoint gameplay?Well I guess I can see why they didn't make a cinematic trailer using gameplay footage.![]()
And i recomend see it on 720p HD i think the graphics arent that bad, at least for their porpuse.

is it just me or are al master jedis the yoda race
dan da man wit da plan
all hail the mighty money cheat
It's just you and yoda's race are extremely rare, only 3 are ever mention before this game.
Well they live very long and seem to be highly force sensitive. Through that long life they have longer time to master the force.
Just think about how good a martial artist would be if he would live several hundred years and would age accordingly to that lifespan as well. And of course would stay focused on improving.
No.
He' be invincible, but I wanna know why there are so few of them.
I watched the Tatooine Dev Walk through on SWTOR.com, just makes me more excited for this now. I just want an actual release date, not the vague "Aiming for the last half of 2011".

True, MMO's are notoriously difficult to bug-test, let alone the fact it takes a lot of time. Bioware are known to be good with fans, seeing as they have a hardcore RPG/MMO fan base, they know what the fans want most of the time and work hard to make it right. It's just frustrating now after about 4 years to still be on a vague release date![]()

Well at E3 EA seemed pretty determined to release this in 2011, no matter what.
I don't blame them either as this game is costing them money as it is, a further delay would cost even more.
Is this game available worldwide? If yes, awesome![]()
Think there will be a free trial when it finally comes out? I have never been a MMO player and would like to eventually assess for myself if it would be worth my time and money (judging from the previews it looks likely).
Sophisticated dragon
Free trial would be a good idea.
