Bah, but I hope Bioware gets some good beta testers that understand what they are suppose to do.
Been in too many betas where most people think beta testing=free trial and then proceeds to wander around the internet claiming the game sucks without realising that they never played the full game.
That and of course forgetting that they are under the NDA which means they have to keep their mouths shut.

Yeah, NA first which is understandable, I wouldn't have got into the 1st phase anyway. Yeah by all means have a blast while your playing but remember why you've been invited. The later the phase the more fun the beta to be honest. I personally thought testing wasn't going to commence until Autumn but there you go.

Personally I love beta testing as early as possible since you kinda see the fruits of your labor in a way.
If you are in a open-beta the fixes won't be as big as they are in early closed.

I don't know... often the depth of the story is lost and focus is taken away from more key game features when a game is an MMO. Maybe Bioware will change that with the vioce acted stories and what not, I really hope so, but my hopes aren't too high.

EDIT: I'll still get it of coarse, I mean its TOR after all , and I'm sure I will enjoy it for some time. I just think that the move to MMO is a bad move.

Wouldn't it be better if there was a single player KoTOR which would tie up loose ends of the first and second games? What of Revan? We know that he failed, because we see the resurgent Sith Empire, but what became of him? What about the Exile? Did she join Revan? Or she preferred to rebuilt the Jedi Order? That would be the best prequel to TOR as far as I am concerned.

Revan went to the Unknown Regions, and most probably failed... I would like to know what exactly he did, and how or why he failed? But, the Exile could be even more interesting...Anyhow, the MMO still has a lot of potential...and I believe that Bioware will not let us down...

Arguably, no story ever ends in the Star Wars universe, hell, in no game at all. It's just where the game ends, not the story.

Frankly, I do not even want this to end, unless the game becomes really old and boring.
