Combat

I like the look of the combat.
Very similar to the other KOTOR games.
I used to be hesitant about the design direction, but seeing it in movement: it really works.
Thanks TB cool vid btw.
Still not too excited with the character design, though the combat is looking slightly better now.
nice video, they moving in the right direction
Then, as throngs of his enemies bore down upon him and one of his followers said, "They are making at thee, O King," "Who else, pray," said Antigonus, "should be their mark? But Demetrius will come to my aid." This was his hope to the last, and to the last he kept watching eagerly for his son; then a whole cloud of javelins were let fly at him and he fell.
-Plutarch, life of Demetrius.
Arche Aiakidae-Epeiros EB2 AAR
I love the overall design but I hope they ramp up lightsabre combat. It is, arguably, the most important combat aspect in the game and I think has to be implemented well.
Alistair Yronwood - Lord of Yronwood, Warden of the Stone Way, Blood Royal
"Darkness? I was born in it...molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man. By then it was nothing to me but blinding! The shadows betray you because they belong to me!"But there must always be a Darth Traya, one that holds the knowledge of betrayal. Who has been betrayed in their heart, and will betray in turn."
"You clearly don't know who you're talking to, so let me clue you in. I am not in danger, I AM the danger! A guy opens his door and gets shot and you think that of me? No. I am the one who knocks! "
Well it's still to early to know.
I don't like the purple lightning though, has gotta be blue

Both blue
It's blue and purple from what I recall. A combination of both.
"And the Heavens Shall Tremble"
Resistance is futile
"ehn sewr traih-sluyrds-lairareh"
Anyway, it's not the kind of purple it's now. That's more Mace Windu's light sabre purple
So, I'm starting to contemplate playing a Jedi. Is there any chance they'll allow for a plot which makes the Jedi loyal to the Republic rather than the Jedi order?
The Jedi order is a part of the Republic.
ttt
Adopted son of Lord Sephiroth, Youngest sibling of Pent uP Rage, Prarara the Great, Nerwen Carnesīr, TB666 and, Boudicca. In the great Family of the Black Prince
Yeah but they're their own institution, not under the control of the Republic, the Senate, etc.
I'm leaning towards BH or SW at the moment. Honestly i'd rather pick a Republic class but they are simply not as appealing. Jedi don't fit my character at all, Trooper is the dullest of them all, and Smuggler is some random guy with two blasters basically.
My worry with the Sith Warrior though is that the few armors shown are totally rubbish. Bio has gotten the idea from somewhere that SW need to look like cyborgs
My pony jumps ever so high
They got it from this dude called Darth Vader
I know, but that's literally where they got it from, wasn't trying to be snide. They say it in a design interview.
Anyways, The EU has firmly established Jedi and Sith being armoured, especially in the past. Mix that with their idea of the classes being representative of an archetype (in casu Darth Vader) I get how they came to the current designs.
The Jedi actually stopped wearing armor as part of the Ruusan reformation, so that people would't think of them as being an agressive conquering army
