    Default NTW-3 Gameplay Suggestions

    Hi all

    After making a number of maps for E:TW, the Lordz Modding Collective has decided to move on to modding N:TW.

    A number of ideas and plans are floating about, but a quick mod that will focus solely on important gameplay changes will soon be on the way. To that point, it would be very helpful if you could post in this thread what opinions you have. Just keep in mind, we are only focusing on broad gameplay changes right now, and those most relevant to multiplayer battles. Confirmed changes will be added to the original post here as they are decided upon.


    Current Plan:
    Spoiler Alert, click show to read: 

    * Create new battle maps (including porting the ones made for E:TW)
    * Remove Spikes (deployed by lights)
    * Remove camera shake
    * Remove Grenades
    * Grenadiers to 120 men in a unit

    A "remove camera shake" temporary fix is already up somewhere......

    I think that less lethal musketry and more moral damage would make for a more interesting battle. In fact, that would make generals all the more important.

    Yes, but the idea is to include such improvements in a single mod.

    Yes, morale and accuracy changes are needed.

    Remove Steamships and Ironclads while you are at it.

    increase in range

    Possibly make supply depots a little more important

    put unit recruitment limits based on the population of the region.

    revise the economic aspect of the game.

    in agreement with above postings the accuracy of the musketry exchanges even at range are way too high as it stands right now.I am all for the crushing volley but at close ranges rather than maximum kill range of the weapon
