reaching out to former allies

Basically wissenland attacked the dwarfs, so i broke my alliance with the dwarfs, not realising that every other empire faction would side with the dwarfs. Wissenland then attacked averland, and that war combined with attacking orc stacks have left them as a ruin no good to anyone. How can I become allies again with the dwarfs, my diplomat will only treat with allies so i cant even offer them the alliance again.

You'll want to find the descr_cursor_actions folder in the data folder, then find "selected diplomat" using ctrl f is the fastest way to do it. then look at the "over enemy" section and change it so it looks like the "over allied" section.

now you can use the diplomat to talk to anybody. falling short of this it was suggested that you could delete the entire file, but I don't know what other effects that would have.
Just realised I can upload files. If you download my file and put it in the data folder everything should work dandy
