My bad. I should've told you. Perhaps you can ask them how they did it, and then ask PB to implent it? Or don't you have a clue concerning modding?

I quite personally hate the no borders mods, however some people like them I guess.
If you plan to include it then could you please post the regular map file or just tell me how to put them back in?

I agree, no borders just isn't it for me. Luckily I know what to mod in descr_sm_factions.txt, even if new factions are added.

I feel like an idiot, but I have literally not noticed the Borders Mod, and never do unless someone points it out.
It's not included yet It will be in the next version though - you can check it out here in the meantime.
It's not all that difficult to change. For instance, this is a normal entry for scotland, with the standard borders:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
The Primary (blue) colour is the colour of the various settlements, while the secondary (red) colour is the border colour. What's been done with the No-borders mod is just to change the secondary colour to the same numbers as the primary ones. Then the areas and the borders are the same colour, making it appear as it's all the same area.
So if a new faction is added without borders in a new version, all you need to do to restore their borders is to make the secondary colour different from the primary one.
I'm just curious. Why do some people like no borders it just makes it harder to navigate?

I quite like it. It makes the factions look more like a united nation, rather than a combined group of smaller areas. Also, it simply looks better to me that way.
I'm sory for bothering, I've just installed the mod and I'm bit confused. Inside mods\Stainless_Steel_6 folder there are so many other folders. Data_Ai_Byg, Data_Ai_Thesavage and Data_BGRIV - what's the difference? And is BGR IV implemented in all these folders? And what's the Stakes Script Only folder?

EDIT: PB, have you considered sticky FAQ or something, especially for new players of your submod? Even I am often confused what means this or that AI, stakes or not, limited BGR, absolute BGR, limited activity, changed siege code, early or late campaign and when and why etc.
That future FAQ can greatly contribute to order and clarification in RR/RC threads and posts.
And before you kill me, I know that making FAQ can be time consuming and boring to death. But maybe some of us can help you with this, if you so choose.

If he doesn't, I likely will. The current factions are in need of a major overhaul with primary colors already. In my current campaign I have Moors as a tolerable rust color rather than that ungodly orange, French are a much more royal blue, Ottomans a darker green (no more neon death.... ugh), Sicily has a light blue border (looks great in-game, much better than current boring color scheme of grey/white), and Hungary's colors are in line with the magyar mod's colors (much more accurate, and no ugly salmon!).
If PB could release no-borders as an option, like he does with Byg, that would be nice. Or vice versa, just allow us to customize please

Hmm, the colors are in need of an update...
