There is an immense tunnel/cave complex beneath my island, with plenty of lava sources, which I am slowly starting to venture in deeper and deeper.

lol this game is great. i will post pics in a minute...

ok, my screen kind of lagged when i first started digging so i ended up in a hole. Since there are caverns i decided to just keep digging down. I eventually found a very small one, and right under neath was lava. However, when i dug to the sides i also found lava, which flooded my cavern i eventually got myself out by digging stairs.

Here is the entrance, a nice little doorway in the side of a hill

Once inside, there is a staircase that goes down, and down, and down...

it eventually leads to a cavern, where this staircase is, that leads to a room full of lava. In that room there is also a hole in the ceiling that goes all the way up to ground level, but apperantly that screen shot didnt save.

How do you heal?!

Kill pigs, receive bacon, eat bacon. You can also cook bacon, and it will give you more health. Or you can grow wheat and bake bread.

On the free version you can eat brown mushrooms to heal.

Is it possible to make Obsidian? If so, how does it work exactly?

Water + Lava = Stone

Water + Lava Spring = Obsidian

You need diamond to mine it though, so until I find that, my factory will remain offline.

So you will actually use up your Lava spring to create Obsidian?

When lava or water drops off a sheer drop it regains full power and becomes a new spring. My hope is that when dropping lava off the inflow pipe it will be a lava spring and create obsidian.

Ah, oke.

I just found an three underground Lava lakes beneath my fortress, this is the biggest one. In the area where the red circle is are 2 rivers and a small lava lake, holding a lot of obsidian. Now I only need to find diamond somewhere.



This screenshot was taken just a few seconds before I managed to fall into the lava, killing me and I lost half of my inventory... Luckily my iron, gold ore and coal was still laying on the shore.

Playing the free survival mode I had dug a small tunnel underneat my home and was begining to carve out a room. But guess what the last block was holding up? Yes, an underground river. Half my network was flooded and I barly escaped. Only to be ambushed by a zombie that jumped up and hit me when I was on my blacony overlooking my moat. I died. I was a very sad panda.

How do I Un-Flood a cave? If its possible. And how come those zombies/spider/skeletons are always waiting at the top of my tunnel to gank me?! I made a HUGE underground base. Then IU return topside to make a castle. There were 5 baddies at the top. I quickly ran into my cave and blocked the way up. I dug a new one 5 more baddies. This time they got me. Do they know where I am tunneling?

Yeah it's possible. What I would suggest would be to block the water flow... this may be difficult to do from the cave itself. Reckon you could find the source of the river and dam it?

I just got ownd by a zombie. I was carrying 99 coal 99 silver 99 dirt (Lol) Im pretty ticked
