Music online anyone?
Love your mod!
I have a question though, is there a anyway for me to install the latest version of your mod when I have the All in One Mod installed?
Thanks a lot! Got it to work, however I'm having a bit of a problem whit the music. I think its mixing the music from your music mod whit the (not as good) music mod that comes whit the All In One Mod. Do you know anyway around this?
Again thanks for a great mod and a fast replay, I will give you rep when I have enough posts![]()

Sweet mod, +rep when I can =)
Hello JFC.
I think you committed a mistake concerning the russian flag. It is not until 1815 that the russian 3 colored flag (white, blue, red) has been changed to the white, gold-yellow, black flag, and later on to the one you did include in the mod.
So, as this mod is intended to portray national flags up until the end of the Napoleonic Wars in 1815, could you make a small patch to include the right russian flag for that period ?
Please, if I am mistaken, correct me.
Best regards,
Liberalis.
If you can prove it with some links, I'll have a look. However, on looking through numerous web pages, prior to the submission, Russia didn't actually have an 'official' state flag for the period. The yellow flag with the eagle, being that of the Tzar seems the most appropriate.
If you are referring to the yellow/black/white flag, then that is just an alternative minor tweak that someone requested ages ago that doesn't appear in the default NTF2.1.
how do i use this? the flags dont change?

Sorry for the late reply.
Have a look on the Flag of Russia wiki page here :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Russia
List of russian flags here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Russian_flags
The one in your mod, with the yellow background has only been used from 1858.
The Russian flag included in your "Minor changes" has been first introduced right after the coalition has defeated Napoleon in 1815. So it's post Napoleonic Wars also.
The White, Blue Red flag was the official state flag during the Napoleonic Wars.
PDGuru has added this one which is the most correct one for the Russian Imperial Army: http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...agRequest2.jpg
Could you please (I beg you), if you have the time, to put the same effect on it as the one you have used for your other flags ?
I have also some others versions with which you can work I guess:
PDGuru's version
http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=379180
I'd use it, but it hasn't the same PS effect as the others in your mod.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Anyway, if you could do this it would be greatly appreciated and credited.
Thanks for reading.
Liberalis Bellatricus,
Looking at the sites you have provided actually state that there was no official state flag for the Napoleonic War period.... The White Blue Red was a civil maritime flag and the one with the Golden Eagle was the Tsar Flag of Moscow and not Russia.
If anything, the flag should actually appear with scrolls:

As used from the period 1700-1917
http://flagspot.net/flags/ru_tzar.html
So again, the Yellow Flag with Black Eagle still seems the most appropriate?![]()
Hello again, thanks for your answer. I have done my homework, again, and reaffirm my statement.
First of all, the White-Blue-Red flag was in-fact a maritime flag BUT since 1705 it became the "most" official Russian Empire State flag.Originally Posted by ♔JFC♔

Both quotes explain that Peter the Great did by order N°: 2021 (20th January 1705) institute the White-Blue-Red flag as.... the Russian Empire State Flag and that prior to this date the flag was used as maritime flag, especially on the Moscow, Don, and Volga rivers.

For the little anecdote, the White-Blue-Red flag was indeed a maritime flag at least for a time, and took it's inspiration from the Dutch flag. As a side-note, Peter I was a great admirer of Europe, and especially of Holland and the Dutch expertise in ship building. Hence his inclination for those colours. Don't forget that Peter was much more a lover of maritime warfare; even though he excelled on land too. Several story's exist as to where the inspiration for the flag originated from and how it came into the mind of the Tzar.
Nonetheless, speculations do exists, but merely about PRIOR use of the White-Blue-Red flag. Moreover, there are several clues about the use of this flag prior to 1705, some even going as far back as 1673.
You must understand, that Moscow was the Russian Empire's Capital, up to the construction of St. Petersburg by... Peter I. The standard of the Tzar of Moscow, was in fact the Russian Standard for the whole Empire. Moscow is Russia !
This takes us to the following story about the White-Blue-Red flag but with the double-headed eagle. So the first time the flag of the Tzar of Moscow was raised was.... at sea, on the ship "Saint Peter", by none other than Peter himself. lol. Quite amusing if you ask me. The following quote explains that little story.
This is the original flag which I mention above, raised by Peter himself. Some 300 years later, to this day, it still remains in good shape, though having lost a bit of it's original colours, in the Martime War Museum of St. Petersburg. The following pictures show it in its actual state.6 августа 1693 года[26], во время плавания Петра I в Белом море с отрядом военных кораблей, построенных в Архангельске, на 12-пушечной яхте «Святой Пётр» впервые[27] был поднят так называемый «флаг царя Московского», состоящий из трёх горизонтальных равновеликих полос белого, синего и красного цветов, с золотым двуглавым орлом посередине. Оригинал этого старейшего из российских флагов, сохранившихся до наших дней, находится в Центральном военно-морском музее в Санкт-Петербурге (инвентарный номер 10556).

The following flag was the one used for commemorating the Patriotic War of 1812, introduced by Tzar Alexander I in 1815 AFTER the end of the Napoleonic Wars.
Впервые в России черно-желто-белый флаг начал вывешиваться в торжественные дни после 1815 года, вслед за окончанием Отечественной войны с наполеоновской Францией.

I don't try to push my opinion to tell what is the truth, I myself who am half Russian (fluently speaking and reading) had quite some difficulties discerning facts. Especially because there is an ongoing debate on what exactly the "official" state flag was... But, I'll leave the polemic to historians in favour of personal preference.
Much more, I try to convince you that, as far as "we" can tell, the White-Blue-Red flag could have perfectly been used during the Napoleonic Wars.
So, I ask of you again, mon ami, if by any chance you could render the same beautiful effect on the White-Blue-Red flag with the double-headed eagle as the one you used for your other flags ?
Please ?
With Russian love.
Lib.

The russian flag(all yellow) is wrong, its a Tzar' own stanard/banner/coast of arms, and not a state flag...
