The FAQ clearly says that you can't change the unit sizes.

    Any ideas on my problem???

Maybe worth uninstalling+reinstalling (will try tomorrow)

    Any other ideas???

How do you check that the files have been transferred correctly (there is an 'aristeia' folder in the Rome - Total War directory, and I get your splash screen for a couple of seconds before the error message). Does this mean they have transferred correctly?

Are there files within the aristeia directory? Anyway, like I said whatever the problem I doubt it can be fixed without a reinstall. What OS are you using?

    Yes, there are files.

    I'm on Windows XP.

Am uninstalling Rome as we speak (It doesn't matter that I have renamed directories for Vanilla and EB does it?)

Woah, renamed directories? - yes that may well matter lol.

    Yes, good idea.

What do you suggest? Shall I just hang it all and delete everything Rome related before reinstalling? (can I do this manually?)

Do I need to go into the registry? (a mysterious place where I don't usually dare tread)

Or perhaps I should just offer the requisite sacrifice to Apollo....

First - sacrifice to Apollo 100 bulls

Second - just uninstall rome and delete everything in the rome folder.

Third - Reinstall without changing any directories this time.

Will try, although those 100 bulls weren't cheap

ARGH it didn't work, I'm getting exactly the same message! (file missing with goddledegook)

Are you SURE I didn't need to install BI as well?

Would it be possible for someone to send me/upload a folder with the full working installation that I could just download and paste into my Programme Files?

I'll be gutted if I can never play this mod after waiting so long for it
