What I did was in self-defense. You see, this is why I have stayed away from the guild-war so far. You have essentially stopped all potential role-play from other people by 'Closing' london, which isn't actually in your powers. Your job is to enforce law, not close the city. No where in the so called 'Constitution' does it say the Sheriff of London has the power to enact Marshall law on the city.

Why do you have to stop the RP before anyone gets a chance to do anything? Plus I would count you deleting my posts, which you shouldn't be doing anyway, as hijacking my rp, as you have now defeated the purpose of it. The Game mods, not forum mods, should be deciding who can post what.

I propose a Vote of No Confidence against Major, to remove him from the position of Sheriff, and ban him from becoming it or the Mayor again.

They were advancing upon us, with weapons. They had a clear intention to harm us and possibly attack the Cathedral. They obviously aren't going to stand down, so I defended myself and my men.

Im sorry but what I did was ooc... FOr starters, you opened fire on a group of civilians who hadn't entered the grounds. Secondly, you know that for a while you cannot bring troops into London without permission. And thirdly, I can, enforcing the law includes marshal law, if you say I can't do that, then thats stopping RP. Anyone can come into London, just not with troops, thats what the closing is for.. If I had posted in a brand new thread saying

Open fire with archers, kill 20 rioters

and you call me rp ending

You see, now you have just lost all support from me, any possible RP I could bring, and any possible troops I might bring.

It isn't as though there would be any guards left on the gate to stop me entering, they would be stopping the rioting. Secondly, look above for my reasoning, and thirdly by enacting marshal law you have essentially cut off all support from outside. So that in itself is RP ending.

No offence Major but as you are not a GSTK moderator, I don't think you should be allowed to remove posts that aren't in breach of the ToS. Removing game violating posts is Mythre, Nole, Carl and Raglan's job.
