Well his now trying to execute actual characters might push it a bit, I mean Blackader is a knight of the realm and a member of a long noble bloodline and Regi's is a squire to some lord so executing them without trial would have angered the nobles.

Double A's character was actually a bit of a heretic so I'm not sure in character people would have been so upset over his execution. (No offense.)
