I got a warm, fuzzy feeling inside when I saw this thread title

Thing is, this hypothetical scenario would have to assume that serious reform would have been undergone in the USSR to put it into a dominant position. Not to mention a ton of technological catching up.

To address the question correctly, I suppose I'd be about to enter a career in the Communist Party of Britain. Hopefully something in the area of industry or housing - and I'd be a much happier bunny for it. And in the meantime, I'd be posting in a thread on the internet entitled "What if the Western Powers had defeated the Soviet Union?", and some of the replies would look like this:

I think the OP is assuming that the West would somehow collapse like the East did, rather than through military conquest.

That was the point. I wouldn't really bother with Red Dawn if I were you. It's rubbish. Play Freedom Fighters instead - much more fun.
