    If this mod dumped the Americas it would reach almost perfection .

    Any way to download this for people who can't download from gamefront (which banned half the world)?

    This mod has been in beta for almost 3 years. Is it worth trying in the year 2013 or are there other mods I should look into?

    I am more than 20 turns ingame and cannot recruit any units as France. There were some few in the beginning and then nothing. I understand this peculiar system aims exactly at reducing recruitment availability for realism, but I think it is buggged. There isn't what to fight with.

    I do not understand how some people still complain abouth recruitment.I have enough for a decent garrison troops (which keep population happiness under control) and a small army that guards my borders and take care of my smal offensive movements; mercenaries, are also important.
    You must know, how to choose your alliances, to take care of neighbors, to love the Pope, to wisely manage your territories, to plan your campaigns and wars, to be a good general and to not lose your units and many people in battles. I play with BB minimod but the same story applies to vanilla DLV; and do not forget: it is not SS.

    Bugged ? hmm.... perhaps your game strategy is buggged. But do not despair, with DLV, I do not think it is someone who has not lost at least one campaign!

    If it is not bugged then its entire philosophy is mistaken. If one can't recruit at least one unit for more than 20 turns, this is simply idiotic. There isn't what to do in this game then crave to press the end turn button. If restrictions are necessary, that would be to prevent you to have more armies than normal. A normal level has not been reached, I am fighting mostly with mercenaries and the few low profile units that by miracle were available in the beginning. This is blocking the game engine and intention that one plays such a game untill retirement. Simply crazy.

    dont know if this works in vanila but try to maximize the defense spending menu. open construction menu, then search all the buttons for the defense spending menu and then set it to 5.

    Go to construction menu and click on the small helmet icon (or whatever it is). You will see a pop-up defense spending window, click yes, then no on the 2nd pop-up. I find level 2 to be enough. Needless to say high defense spending depletes your treasury. It also affects government and military development points. I always have enough military points even on level 2 spending. Government points are however much harder to gain so keep defense spending low. Govt points give market upgrades hence more income, while military points give barrack upgrades hence better units. Try to click on other icons in recruitment window to discovrr other functions of DLV.

    So from what i understand DLV is no longer being worked on and has quite a few known issues. So my question is why not just include Taiji's BB mod as the official Patch of DLV, i mean if he is still working on the mod and everyone else has bailed why not just give him full control?

    This is 'Battlefield Balance', a super-mod for Deus Lo Vult.
    It started out as a project to make a sensible unit stat system and hence the name. However by now it has become almost the entire game. This mod adds so much it's tough to attempt to list it all Taiji

    far from perfection, italian music is when playing France, impossible to get trade agreements even if you offer upp your entire treasury, the mood looks great, especially on the battlefield with all the nice flags and skins but the campaign gameplay...

    amazing mod, but why do the faction heirs look so fruity? (European) maybe it's a graphics bug, because they don't look like vanillas general skins, if that is the intention but instead all kinds of different colours.

    hey, do you have any idea why faction heir skins look like this?, examples are HRE, Denmark and France. Is this a skin bug or it is meant to be this fruity?.

    Hello dudes!

    I registered on this forum to obtain some information on DLV 6.3

    ( by the way i have the link to download http://www.gamefront.com/files/21292882 )

    Anyway - after i install everythink as it is described in 60 -> 6.2 -> 6.3 i have following issue:

    When chossing faction in custom campaign if i select soem factions (quite a few) - the game exits to desktop!! i cant play many factions!! could it be that i have some language inconsistence ?
