Installation Help!

Hi guys! First of, it looks like an totally awsm and a realistic mod!!

sec, i cant install it xD, i mean i can but i get a error...
i downloaded "PDeR 1.0a.D02, PDeR 1.0a.D002 and PDeR 1.0a.exe" I runned the exe ablabla and the install started. But after a while i got this message:

"""PDeR 1.0a has not been totally installed because of the following reason:

mods\PDER_1.0\data\ui\unit_info\hungary\dismounted_knights_templar_info.tga:
This file contains invalid data. (error 21FC)

You will have to run this utility again to completely install PDeR 1.0a. """

Can someone help me...? Really wanna try this mod!!

Surely you meant the EXE, DO1 and DO2?

Apart from that, your download might have gotten corrupted. Check how far the progressbar goes when installing, from there you should get a good guess which part to download again.

Its gets like almost on 70-80% then i get this message again

And the "PDeR 1.0.D02" are not .exe files they are ".D01" and ".D02" files. At least thats what written in the file description. Its only "PDeR 1.0a.exe" thats a ".exe" file

EDIT: This installation attempt was done with "fresh" new downloaded files

Seventy to eighty percent should be that last file = DO2, else the second = DO1

100% diveded by three = 33.3%, that's why it could be either.

I installed M2:TW+Kingdoms on my friends comp, then downloaded the mod files frpm mediafire.
The same happened to him.. =/

EDIT: And he gets exactly the same error message as i do..

Yea that was the exact same file that I was having trouble with. I tried redownloading each part 2 and 3 respectivally multiple times trying each source. Then I tried redownloading the whole thing once from the first source then again from the second. Every time I got the same exact error message. I eventually had to give up and use the unmodified version you listed later in the thread. But it just seems odd that so many people are having errors with supposed corrupted downloads and it all revolving around the same unit error. Could be the server containing the data corrupted the root and no matter how many times we try we would fail.

) but I just installed PDeR and this is what I've done:

PdeR 1.0a has not been totally installed because of the following reason:

I got the error at about 59/60%. (.D01, .D02, .exe) I ran the .exe again and the same thing happened. I downloaded both the 3-part file and the one .exe file at strategyinformer.

The one here http://www.strategyinformer.com/pc/medievaliitotalwarkingdoms/mod/21410.html# installed ok for me.

I then applied the three fixes and am now going in.

No sound, tried method 1 here http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?148460-PRO-DEO-ET-REGE-SOUND-FIXES and it worked for me (English version).

Entered 1^st as Aragon, everything is ok. The only thing not ok is this

The UI problem is a combination of mismatching menu\mt2w.lnt and menu\textures\fe_t.extures1.tga
The LNT file of PDeR has been modified to allow for more slots in the faction selection menu and I am not sure if it uses the basic (vanilla) file or the updated kingdoms version. Therefore I think that the corresponding fe_textures file may be the wrong version (possibly introduced by the fixes). If you wish to try and fix it, then I would suggest to download both version of my Bare Geomod installation and then try the fe_textures files one at a time. Do make a back up of the PDeR file before doing so.

Hi all.

The mod looks great, I can't try even a bit of it though! I've just installed the one-parted version. The game launches like other mods, but as I chose a faction and click the "start campaign" button everything freezes. Only the freakin' arrow seems to be having a lot of fun and keeps swirling.

Any ideas?

happened to me too, i installed the way darkan said, and nothing works. its freezing before campaign or before custom battles, none starts

I have put up a new upload in torrent form. Simply put all your previous downloads into one folder and then point the torrent to that folder. It should 'repair' the third part.
