Just delete the Stainless_Steel_6 folder in \Medieval II Total War\mods\
    That should do the trick.

Did you run the official uninstaller for MTW2?

    KSI Crusader,

Let me guess are you by any chance using Windows 7 or Vista? If you are it is stored in different places, let me know I will find out where.

Is your version a disc or is it a Steam Version?

    KSI Crusader,

Have a look in this file, see if you find any reference to MTW2 and delete:
    C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\...\Medieval2 Total War.

Also try a registry clean that will remove any unwanted files.

If this does not work, I am sure you will be back.

I think you're going to have to post this in the general M2TW tech help section to help you with this. If you want I can move the thread there for you.

You have a multitude of problems going here. First off reference this thread and find out how to uninstall M2 manually - I'm afraid it's your only option after waging a scorched-earth campaign on the game. It sounds like you have a grasp of how to use RegEdit so this shouldn't be a problem for you.

Since you're running Vista be sure to search for the Appdata folder and delete the Sega folder within it. A simple search using the Windows search function should point you to the correct folder.

Are you running any kind of crack or CD-fix on this system? It would help to know. Good luck!
