Whats the difference between these two games.

Warlords of Sparta is based on the 300 movie/comics.

Sparta: Total War is focused more on the historical aspect of Ancient Greece's challenges against the growing Empires of the world (Persia, Macedonia, and Rome).

There's a "classical" version of WoS, which kind of nullifies that.

But like he said, STW has numerous more factions than WoS, such as Rome, Macedonia, Sparta, Athens, Corinth, Thessaly, Iberians, Thracians, etc.. And the most recent version, 3.5, uses the RS map, so it extends well beyond the borders of the WoS map.

Of course, that's not to say WoS isn't a great mod.
