Thread: The Aristeia To-Do List

  1. #1

    Default The Aristeia To-Do List

I think it is fair that people know what still needs completed. I have made a list which is displayed below and includes who is working on what currently.

    - Complete and add remaining hero descriptions (Patroklos & Idomeneus).
    (Zenith)

    Currently in pre-release testing.

I'll be constantly updating it so keep checking back to see the rate of progress. I've already removed two things from the list.

    Updated.

Well who knows. I should stop giving dates, and even if I did give a date I'm sure nobody would pay any attention because it still isn't released despite plenty of previous release dates. As you can see from the list most of what still needs done requires other people to do it. I may just join in with the public and inquire as to when the release shall be instead of setting dates lol.

Zenith sure has alot to do. It really is looking close though. Is every unit really complete?

Yes, Zenith has the unfortunate job of having to do all of the descriptions, which, excellent and detailed as they are, can be easily overlooked by the fans (in general) who are drawn to the eye candy first. Don't underestimate them though, the descriptions and various texts are what give the mod its soul - and are very time consuming.

P.S. Yes all of the units are finished, complete with gloss maps and sprites.

You could half ass the descriptions for the first beta...

Thats a shame that people are like that, overlooking all the things that make a game great like story and detail and going only for the glitz and glamor instead. I guess its just part of the new "modern warfare 2" generation of gamers. Not that it wasn't a fun game while I played it, for a short time mind you, the community was horrible, nothing like here at TWC. Anyone who has played it would know what I'm talking about. I don't mean to insult anyone.

    I don't want to rant.

The people who like all the detail and back story, all of us that come here regularly, will enjoy the added detail. Anyone else is just missing out.

This mod looks like it will have an excellent balance of in depth game play, and in depth story. Gonna be Awesome!

I just don't know enough, and I don't have the same way with words that zenith has.

Oooo, look how small the to-do list is now.

You'll have the beta release of the game in the next couple of days, if all goes to plan!

How are the unit descriptions coming?

The unit cards are almost done, just a few to do which had been forgotten about.

There are four hero biographies to go at the time of writing. They are Patroklos, Paris, Idomeneus and Sarpedon.
