Which Faction Will You Play As First?

Really? Well in the book, the name of those grim warriors are never uttered, and alot of other creatures aren't either. BTW, are Southrons and haradrim the same things? because i think I can remember some cases where Tolkien said something indicating that the Mumakil were under the control of Haradrim, and another where he indicated Mumakil were under the control of Southrons.

Yes, Southrons is Westron for Haradrim.

Haradrim is a word for the Southrons in Sindarin. BTW, does anyone know any Southron or Easterling words?

All I know is Inca-nus, which means North-Spy, which is what they called Gandalf.

I meant like, are there a sufficient number of units for each factions: Variags, and Easterlings that Tolkien did not describe in so much military detail? I don't want Haradrim that have only 7 units or something like that.

I've yet to play it lol! But I will be soon...I just don't have access to a PC with RTW installed on it at the moment

When I do I'll be playing as Harad.

I played as Gondor first myself. A custom battle with the Rangers of Ithilien only. They ambushed a passing host of Haradrim

The elves... Who doesnt want a full army of only legolas'es.. he and his z0mg unending arrows, and he is z0mg handsome, nah just jking.
I choose the elves but really im still doubting between Gondor/Arnor, als an evil faction i would most likely choose Harad, because their units just have amazing graphics

Ent the men of dale gunna be a faction as i thought seeing the fourth age is the dominion of men surely dale would have expanded its borders into rhun or summin?

A bit late in answering you, James (though I think we did that in another thread?); the kingdom of Dale will be a minor faction, and, yes, there are some indications that Dale expanded their borders in the Fourth Age.

i'm gonna have to say the Elves. nobody can stand up to a hail of acurate archer fire. Every one else will die before i have to get into handto-hand combat.
