Can't update to 1.6, exe and main menu report 1.5

Anyone else get this? I got an update (Steam) about the time 1.6 was released but I cannot get the version number to tick over to 1.6... it still shows 1.5. Running vanilla and even tried deleting the exe and verifying cache files through Steam.

Anyone else getting this problem?

yep, if you read the thread about the update you will see that this a bug, the version stated is 1.5.XX

Did the 1.6 update not change the EXE? Even if the version data for the main menu was neglected, the details on the EXE file itself is an altogether independent source of version information.

Uninstall and reinstall the game. Verifying game cache integrity only works up to a point and back installing form the beginning and it looks like you're there.

Edit: I read @ .com that they only changed the build number, not the version number.
