Namaan's Byzantium Sub Mod

Hallo PDER fans!

My sub mod is mainly Byzantium orientated.
It starts in 1071. AD, just before battle of Manzikert. Of couse, You can lead Byzatine army in that battle, and it is very historical acurate, as most of my sub mod is.
There are a lot of important nobles such as Basileus Romanos Diogenes, Sultan Alp Arslan, Ursel de Baieull, Philaretos Brachamios, Theodoros Gavras, Grigorios Pakourianos, Manoil Komnenos...
Main goal of sub mod is to be as historical accurate as possible.
There are also a lot of minor and major changes, such as princesses for all factons.
Sub mod is very hard to play, so I recomend only experience players to try it.
But if You are Byzantium fan, try it anyway, You will enjoy it!

Download it and copy it in Your PDER folder

It will hopefully give You some fun before PDER II will come out!

Fixing the CTDs:

Download attached files and paste them at PDER/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign

I just downloaded your mod this evening and am having a go as Georgia. I will post again with some impressions after I have played some more.

That be good , if someone might create "dynastic names", like in MTW1. I'm horrified when I see an Avtokrator named Aristophanes.

I agree. In my sub mod, Basileus is Romanos Diogenes, Kaisar is Michael Doukas, And in royal family there are Andronikos Doukas, famous traitor at battle at Manzikert, also Ioanes Doukas his father, and Komnenos family - Manouil, Isaakios and Alexious. Also, other factions have historicaly accurate family trees.

Is there any way to get a new Byzantine roster. Could you a CBUR to this mod.
I look to see a version of this mod in PRO DEO ET REGE 2.

There is the way, but I didn't want to do it. Reason is that I eagerly expect PDER II to be released, and I didn't want to import CBUR units in my sub mod before Socal infidel release his work. He has working on PDER II for some, I don't know, a year or more, and most of Byzantium fans are eager to see CBUR units in HIS mod, not my sub mod.
After PDER II will be released, I will import CBUR units in my sub mod.

Hi I've been trying to play your sub mod and each time I try to start a campaign I get a CTD. I have downloaded it twice and still no success. I would appreciate the help.

I don't know what is the problem, because there are no errors in log. Probably, something is wrong with version of PDER that I have on my computer and with one that others have. I must obviously upload whole PDER wich is on my computer.

The first error could be fatal, not sure.
The second one shouldn't have any side effects
