I am in love with the golden like armor
Incredible piece of work! I'd like to say something smart but I'm speechless.....perhaps the best models seen so far.
BTW: I've read a lot and I'm not so sure they employed armoured horses anytime before 4th century. Their previous cataphracts were usually only heavily armoured trooper on an unarmoured horse............but regardless this mod will buy me forever.
Best of luck
Superb preview!!!!Those units are stunning.I(a beta tester) never ever had the chance to fully look and admire all of the auxilia.Their uniqueness makes me like them more than the legionaries of Rome.

Amazing! Great work! Nice units as always!
It is incredible how much work you have put into this. You didnīt give the same auxilia unit different names, but you made very different units and gave them their own identity. The best Auxiliaries I have ever seen. Finally the Auxiliaries will get the respect they deserve. Itīs due to the RS team.
btw: The faces Cohors Batavorum and Cohors Alpinorum looks sad.
Fantastic! Can't wait.
Amazing.... simply amazing...
Great work!

Ahh, that's some piece of incredible work, guys. RS II is shaping as the best mod ever, with no disrespect to other people's work.
Well, would you be happy to have to go to war? Taken from your own home to fight in distant lands for .. Vague reasons? (Not that they were made to do so, but for the sake of the joke, forget that. )
Excellent work team!

Only dream I ever have. Is it the surface of the Sun?
Everytime I shut my eyes, it's always the same.
Epic.
These previews make me wonder though. As much as I (we) may get the jitters every time a new preview comes out I think I'd rather see the mod finished sooner than having another 2 big previews each taking weeks (?) to complete. Especially the legoins would be something worth finding out for yourself once the mod is out because they probably will be the so-called cream of the crop of this mod (am I right?).
If, for example, canceling the legions preview would free up some people to do some last descriptions etc. and possibly thus finishing RSII 2-3 weeks sooner, I'd say go for it!

"Cohors V Gallorum"
The unit every roman player's been waiting for.
Release is close, and it won't be delayed by more than about 3 or 4 days I'd say by the legions preview.
The main thing really at the moment is ensuring that the various campaigns are balanced. We've got a few more beta testers now, so beta testing is really going full tilt with some really helpful input from our testers.
Key things we need to be sure of getting right from the point of view of balance are the Roman rebellion and AI legion recruitment scripts, as well as ensuring that the whole trait system works smoothly.
As Taelok says, the legions are definitely the cream of the crop. We're not going to miss out on that preview!
You still looking for more beta testers ?
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming.
