Thak you for the link REDrake. It looks like some editing coming up.

That would include the islands, Turkey, the Levant wrapped around to Alexandria and the resr of the southern Mediterranean ports. Noe what about places like Jedda or Timbuktu?

In the file I uploaded plague affects middle east and north Africa. Not south of Sahara desert, however. Mecca was the main target of the pilgrim so it is quite safe to assume that Jedda was hit too. I know that Mecca was, although later than Europe.
Wikipedia also has a good map for the spreading of the plague. Not sure if is reliable as a source though. Many of their information are inaccurate to say the least.

Milan basically closed their gates and refused to allow anyone from outside entry on the penalty of death. Also, the first infected cases where immediately walled within their own houses. Thus the city was spared of the Black Death.

That's when the Americas are discovered. What seems to be the problem with it?

The position of the text within a line has no importance. It is normally done to have a better visual impression of the monitor. In this case it looks like a fast copy\paste job. Nothing to be concerned about.

here Irish, ok I completly removed the mod and re-installed GiGantuses folder this is it completly unmodified
I think the problem is I am trying to add original content from the original ChC folder ( and skip having to rebuild the folder anew) this folder works perfect before any of my edits. I suppose my approach should be to work on it entirely new!
and please if you can please tell what is safe and what is not to add from the original ChC (loading screens,Music, sound files e.g.)
    thank you

Just downloaded this mod, and was looking forward to playing it.
Unfortunately as soon as I run it I get an error message basically saying that it has to quit for unknown reasons.
Apart from reinstall (which is a bit of a pain) does anyone know any ways to fix this?

It 's downloaded and worked for too many for it to be at fault.
When you downloaded it, were you multitasking, alt-tabbing, playing another game, etc.?
Assuming Vista or 7, disable the UAC, be logged in as Administrator, and run in XP SP3 Compatibility.

After that it's a bad download. Please try it, again.

    Hi guys,

well, my old error is back. Remember that the game crashed sometimes when priests boarded ships? Now the game crashes sometimes when a army moves. The army doesn't board, enter a city, a fort, lay siege, has agents or merges with other. It just crashes after moving.

It happened 3 times in my actual campaign.

Do any of you know something about this?

Edit: I've moved ALL the captains, admirals and priests (except those who have "the" in the name) and the game STILL crashes... I've spent 2 hours trying to find the unit who was crashing the game to no avail...

I already gave up one campaign because of this, I didn't want to give up another one

Gigantus, irishron, can't you help me this time?

I have had a few do that. They have been tied to traits that I am still chasing down. Could you upload your log?

    M2TW.system.logs.txt in the logs folder.

In configuration.cfg, could you change the error level from error to trace and rerun it first?

If you meant: "level = * error", it's now: "level = * trace"

In a minute I'll have the log here.
