    Default Realistic cities in background

It seems nothing can be done to make the battlefield cities bigger.

But if realistic-looking (especially in terms of building-density) cities could appear outside the limits of the battlefield during a battle, it would add to the realism of the sieges.

Can anyone mod this into the game?

I don't know. That was a pic from before ETW was released, by which time "alpha-cities" had been removed.
