A few problems for me too.

I downloaded the 1.1 RaR file 346mb and I have the 1.2 patch that has an installer its 458 kb.


When I try and install 1.1 it says that newer version or something like that and won't let me. When I install 1.2 it says older version exist.


I deleted and started over twice. What file am I missing?

There's an annoying bug with the registry if you don't run the uninstaller. Just run regedit from Start->Run->"regedit" and delete:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DiadochiTW

It will work then.


Edit: You can try this patch too if you've fixed it up.

I just finished my first custom battle against myself and my Ballista were called onagers and fired rock instead of bolts.
I also noticed a lot of desert troop where typically they wouldn't be there, ie Gaelic faction.
What does that patch fix? The one you included in this thread.
