    Default Less movement points in campaing: 2/3, 1/2, 1/3

    For those who want less movement points in the campaign maps for units.

    JM users, don't use these sub-mods. Just use the sub-mods in JM page.

    (Mod_technology) (not necessary, only for giving you the structure)
    Mod_x_move
    (Jedi Mod) (not necessary, only for giving you the structure)
    (DM) (not necessary, only for giving you the structure)
    Version 2/3 mov.points

    Version 1/2 mov.points

    Version 1/3 mov.points

    Isabel i've don't tried your mod yet, i'll do it asap!

    For you,can the less moviment create problems to CAI?

    I know that the mod is working, but about CAI: I have not any experience related with CAI problems yet with these:


    1/3 version may provoke some problems.

    I found in my DMUC Ultimate campaign, with 4 turns per year, the 1/2 movement speed works fine, and CAI doesnt have path finding issues.
    Seems to act like it normally would just at a slower pace(what else would you expect).
    One thing I found interesting as I seiged west prussia was that poland had 2 armies, plus the one I was seiging.
    One of the polish forces moved near my army but stopped just short, then the other engaged.
    So this could have been with the movement points or just the CAI, but I found it quite smart to reinforce itself with extra units.

    That looks good so far and sounds cool! - I was skeptic as explained in the other Thread in the previous TW Series this had a bad influence on CAI! But if your observation is that good - it should work fine - I will use it now as I also like a little less movement points - as you said it stops the city hopping which would be great! - will report....
    Great find....so its quite good you mentioned and tested it and Isabelxxx did it that fast....haha....

    i played 1/3 mp - its interesting - with the same sight of line on the campaignmap as vanilla you have the chance to retreat if you see a fullstack is on the way to you
    You can better react and plans more tactical..

    Any way of making this feature weather/season-dependent e.g. less movement in snow?

    because the aum units seem to have their darthvanilla movement. also i think that ships should have their regular mps even on 1/2 1/3 and 2/3

    I absolutely love this mod. Making calculated moves actually make a huge difference in strategy. No more moving millions of men halfway across Europe in 2 turns. Thank you very much for creating and sharing this Isabelxxx.

    I have seen the same thing as Mouth Of Sauron. Seems the AUM units aren't effected by this mod yet.

    One question, and forgive me if you answered this elsewhere. Will you be creating this type of mod for NTW? Its so hard to play now with the unrealistic movements on the strategy map.

    Yes. I will do it for AUM. Wait a few days.

    For NTW, I have to install the game first. It's not really difficult but it could create some incompabilities between other mods for NTW. Be aware this version is only for DM.

    hi,

    i cant seem to get this minimod to work. i placed the 1/3 pack file into my ETW data folder and added the 'mod DMUC_Skies.pack;' line at the end of the UC script but when i play there isnt any change in movement points. i dont have any other mods installed apart from DMUC and the enforced edition.

    any ideas?

    i think maybe im not installing this mod properly. im puting the file into the ETW data folder, then adding a 'mod half_move.pack; entry on that last line. when i do this the games ctd's while loading.

    what am i doin wrong?
