ok now i think this is a bug...the elves of ithilien cannot board ships:hmmm:...it's like trying to merge two fleets with an admiral...hope i've explained myself
edit:ok i've found a better way to explain myself...let's say that is like trying to board a unit on a fleet that is already full of troops(20 units)...the problem is that my fleet was empty. i've tried more than just one time but they never board

Gold may be only patched to 1.4 if an older version.
Goffredo, Elves will not travel by ship; remove them first. Same with Mumakil.

And to better explain what MoN said here: Elves would not - according to lore - go anywhere near the sea, because it had a very strong effect on them and made them yearn for Valinor/Eressea and their kin across the Great Sea. Legolas said that his heart wouldn't find peace anymore since he heard the voices of the seagulls. So, no Elves inside ships.
Mumakil can't board ships because they get sea-sick.

How can I play as Berbers?
The whole world is in chess. Any move can be the death of you.
Baldwin IV
The Berbers were wiped out by Morgoth during the First Age when he invaded Northern Africa during his so-called 'Desert Orc' campaign..so they are, obviously, not in the Fourth Age...

Ok now i understand...it' s fine for me.Too bad i didn't realize that myself, even if i read lotr and silmarillion at least four times each...anyway you coud have mentioned that in the unit description, that would have kept me from sending them with an army in an almost suicidal mission to devastate dunland cities with the only hope of withdraw being a fleet near lond daer ...
in the end i berely managed to save the elves, retrating towards thoronburg...leaving behind me only smoke and ashes
by the way all of this wouldn't have been possible without your awesome mod...thanks again
I can't play campaign or custom battles only historical batlles. Help??

Murfios,
This thread is for questions about the mod, not installation errors.
Your problem normally occurs when end-users fail to patch BI 1.4 up to BI 1.6 (as per the instructions) before installing the mod.

Sorry and thank you.
Under The Patronage Of Leonidas the Lion
It would have to be, because the mod works And, besides, this thread is not for in-game errors either but for questions about the actual features, gameplay, lore, suggestions etc.

it's time for my almost daily silly questions
1)do units armed with one-handed axes(or warhammers or halberds) have the "effective againts armour" attribute?i'm especially thinking of axes of the mark, axemen of rhun and uruk halberds.Perhaps is just like the "bonus fighting riders" attribute for the spearmen,it's there even if you can see it in the unit description
2)any plans to add some new animations?something like the ones signiferone did for vanilla rtw?
Aradan can probably answer your first question better than me, but rest assured we have tried to balance it very thoroughly and taken that attribute into consideration.
Many of the units have rescaled skeletons but there are already a number of new animations in fatw. We have a few of our own and about 5 to 6 from others (mainly EB - with permission and credit of course - which you will see in the Riddermark Spears (Rohan) and the Tribal Pikes (Dunland) and other units).

does this means that no new animations will be added?
i think that something must be done for the way units hold their one handed weapons...i think that they must hold them in a more relaxed stance along their side, like in m2tw,not holding them in front of their face like in vanilla.
i know there's a good reason behind rohan and RK fighting each other but i really cannot stand that,so my question is:there's a simple way to prevent them fighting each other, like the roman factions in vanilla RTW?
PS:i'm not saying that you must change that in the mod,i just want to change that in mine
