Hi, guys
I have a problem. Before a month i uninstalled my Empire, because I was playing it on medium settings(bad graphic card), without any problems. Few days ago I got HD 5770 nad I reinstalled Nappy and Empire, then set most setting on ultra and there wasn't any lag. But when units come in melee fps drops to 2-3 ONLY in Empire (Napoleon runs great).
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E 7400
VGA: HD 5770 1GB
RAM: 4GB
OS: Win 7 32
Monitor: 22" 1680x1050
Any ideas?

I don't understand. It was 1.6 before I uninstalled it, but I haven't noticed this bug...

You reinstalled it, check the version number ingame. If Steam did their job, it's 1.6 (1.5.xxxxxxxx).

The game runs fine upto a point when i am in campaign mode and i set a force to seige a city or just for no reaon the games shuts down stating "Empire has stopped working" a problem has casued the programme to stop working correctly, windows will now close the program and notify you if a solution is avaialbe2........... i have attempted to re-install and problem persists, i am runing windows7 with ATI 5400 graphics, can anyone help

Hi i cant play any battles at all without the windows is searching for a solution box then CTD i dont know what to do the only change is i bought a ATI 5830 upgraded from nvidia 8800 GTS i ran driver sweeper please have a look at my dxdiag and see if you can spot any problems much appreciated.

yeah when ive reinstalled it i made sure every trace of etw was gone reinstalled tried custom battle any of them siege,land,sea and i get the win 7 searching for a solution message then ctd it was working fine till i upgraded to ati 5830 im wondering if its catalyst drivers. or better still does someone know the perfect catalyst setup?

Having issues with the game. It says 'Empire Total War has stopped working', which is usually followed by a BSOD. Tried running it with Steam in offline mode, updated drivers, nothing is working. Happens around 5 minutes into any game. Anything I can do? Or are the files corrupt and I need to buy a new copy?

Only five minutes sounds like ist overheating. Clean your case with canned air and check all fans, vents, heatsinks, etc.
