    Default Ghost Faction Heir

    Hello all,
While moving my faction heir from Naples to a ship my faction heir got really messed up. He now consists of a unit of 0 men which cannot attack or govern anything. Anyone have a solution to this?

Put him on a boat and get the boat sunk?

I believe there is a vanilla bug relating to ships and generals.
    happens every now and then.
    don't know of a fix.

try reloading a save game immediately before the problem arose and don't put the heir on the ship for a turn.

    might solve the problem.

That happened to me. I just put him next to Marseille (any city close to an enemy should do) then moved a unit onto him which pushed him into the city. When the enemy sieged the city I found him back with 46 men

My Sicilian faction heir got bored of just governing Naples all the time and sought adventure like his viking ancestors experienced. He therefore headed out to sea and was never heard of again. Rumours talk about him causing the unexpected attack by Portugal. That at least is my official story, in reality I put him on a ship and attacked the largest navy i could find happening to belong to Portugal.
