I'd say the version we've got now is the final version - or rather, in the long, asymptotic curve towards a final version, we've reached the point where the line is almost parallel to the x axis...

Do not despair. I made a little tutorial-image so you click where the green arrow is pointed. If that still doesn't work i suggest you use a downloadmanager and copy/paste the link from Sean Cappone (1st post) and start from there.

Works for me i just tested the link all active.

Actually there is only one link working, and it's the complete 1.01, not only the patch. So you can just download that and you'll be all right.

i download the mod...Great work!!! i took the macedonians ,great map also....One think that i noticed that it is difficult to play because of money..Money is alway in - minoer condition...is this a problem of the Mod or i play wrong???Thanks again for the great work so many years

The thing is that the new regions don't have resources, what makes economy building rather hard. But it's odd, I never was in dire conditions during my Macedonian campaign.

Downloaded and when I try to launch it says "Failed to find Steam".

The base files aren't corrupted and I'm most definitely on steam. Is there a compatibility issue with steam? I do not have any other mods installed. Any help/feedback would be appreciated.

Steam is rather... complicated... to play mods with, to be honest. It should work if you right click on your "RTW gold" icon, select "Properties" and then "Set Launch Options" where you can type in the following (exclude the apostrophes): " -mod:tgw". It should work with that.

If you ever want to play vanilla again, then you have to retrace your steps and delete this line you entered. But I sincerely hope you don't go back to vanilla

I'm definitely enjoying the core game play. I appreciate the ancient Greek culture, so this mod definitely stood out to me. There are a few minor bugs that are inconvenient but they do not make the Mod unplayable. Slingers/Javelins ( can't remember which one specifically) making bow sound effects while zoomed out is a bit weird, but again, does not make the mod unplayable. Lack of resources in certain areas is pretty inconvenient but expansion south relieves this problem. Looking forward to the patch that fixes this.

Other then those few small complaints, I don't think I'll return to Vanilla Rome TW for quite some time! :-)

Requires Rome Total War version 1.5
Before installing "The Greek Wars" it would be prudent to create a backup of the folder Rome - Total War.
This is not a version supported by autoinstaller. You should unpack the files into your standard RTW folder. To launch the mod you should run tgw.bat in the folder where you have installed the Mod.

I don't get it, is it a new mirror or what? Because IIRC, TGW is already mod-foldered.
