Empire Skin Reputation Icons

Hello, fellow TWC members, I was very pleased that the rep icons were changed in the Empire skin and thank those concerned for changing the icons to a more appropriate icon for the Empire skin.Empire is my personal preference and its the only one I use
I took the liberty of making some of my own crowns and slightly enhancing some of the icons which were already available.......


These are the crowns I made which are currently used in the Empire skin, I had no idea it would be used as I made these initially to give members ideas and perhaps get the Empire community making there own, however some people say they like them, so I used some of the icons already available on the TWC site, and added colours and made some of them larger, lightened the gold colour etc.....




I made my own coins or orbs if you prefer?

I Made these rings and Fluer-De-Lys from the existing icons, only made them smaller and lightened the colour a little

















So if any of these configurations were to be used, which of these do you like best? if they could be used in the Empire Skin?
I am not saying they will or have to be used, but considering what happened last time when the rep icons were changed, I thought it might be fair to ask the community what they like? seems fair to me! hopefully this will be useful to the TWC forums,

Feel free to improve whatever is on the front page if you wish, I submitted them to give members some ideas, that was the aim, at least some members are coming up with more ideas,

I’m in favor of keeping the same gold color theme and having the icons getting progressively larger. It’s clearer to interpret value this way and any combination as such would be fine.

I really fancy your new “3D-crown” and think it is worthy of the 150-rep recognition.

With a matching gold color adjustment to the smaller coins (or using the ex-Empire coins) I prefer this arrangement:

Your sarcasm wasn't necessary, and just makes you look upset that someone wouldn't like the work you created. I was providing honest feedback because I use the Empire skin and want to keep using it. The old icons, while not perfect, are better than any of the possibilities presented here. The only ones of the batch you have that I think are close to acceptable are 9 and 10 but again I would still prefer to keep the current icons until something better is presented by you or another member of the site.

Your poll is also a biased poll because it is missing two viable options:
1) Keep the old icons
2) None of the above

I would choose one of those, likely the first until someone, you or another, presented icons I liked better.

I like number 9, it's a subtle option and gets rid of those hideous oak leaves.

And to Squid: Not meaning to sound rude, but I think you could be a bit more appreciative and polite towards a member who has taken time and effort to make some suggestions to improve the site, especially when it isn't his job to do so.

Appreciate the advice, Sarcasm? where? I am surprised that these icons are not displaying properly(for you) whoever the comment made that I may be upset isnt correct, as I explained earlier and in this thread, I don't really expect any to be used, but if members vote on what they would like to be displayed in the Empire skin, then at least the administrators will know what members want to see, every member is different in their tastes are they not?

I only made the crown by the way which replaced a crown formerly submitted that was displaying bright yellow for me, however I liked the idea, and so thats why I set about making some of my own crowns and coins, however if n one likes them I am hardly upset old stick, members are perfectly entitled to their opinions of course, however they are also entitled to submit their own eh?
make some of your own that you think might be appropriate? I should imagine that even if my ideas proved popular they wouldn't be used?
Still I wanted to try something to see if the community liked these ideas.

I picked #17, but no one of them is exactly what I'd like to see.

Really, these current (Empire skin) rep icons are horrible. And I really mean that! They don't fit each other even a bit.
Even these would be a lot better. You don't have to make them perfect, but anything is better than these current ones. Please, can you do something?
It's a pity that we (or at least I) aren't able to see the rest of Original TWC Skin rep icons. But the one I can see is excellent (congratz y2day ) and I believe the other ones would be as well, so can't we consider them as new Empire skin icons? They don't have to fit the theme, it's enough that they look nice.

EDIT: Now I'm able to see those y's icons, can't we use them ( ) as Empire rep icons from now on? (though the last one really needs recolouring)

Well quite old bean that my thinking as well the rep icon should be uniform thats true, but they certainly need to be a little distinctive as well, having icons that are all the same, having icons like this isn't really distinctive or unique enough in my opinion!


I do rather like these myself on the gold theme which I would say is popular?
