Need help installing...

I've dled all the versions, Do I need to install them in order or can I just go to the latest?

Also I originally put TGW 0.98b into the Rome-Total war folder and I unzipped it but I did not see the TGW.bat file. I am really lost right now, any help would be appreciated.

Do you want to play version 0.97 (which is the most recent "Official" version of the mod), or do you want to play 0.98? (which is Ragimund Von Wallet's submod and changes several gameplay aspects of the game but from what I hear is not to everyone's tastes) Because 0.97 installs as a complete game but the submod (0.98) is a patch which requires 0.97 to already be installed. You do not need the 0.97 patch for 0.95 for either of these so you can delete it and you only need one of either 0.98a or 0.98b. (0.98a has all the recruitment times for hoplites set to 0 turns) I am also releasing my own submod soon so make sure you check that out aswell.

If you have downloaded it all properly the game should start through a batch file which is called TGW (so basically what you just described) but it won't make a shortcut so you will need to go into program files and open it yourself. Hope I have helped, good luck on getting it to work!
